Royal family fans have been questioning whether Princess Charlotte just subtly challenged protocol.
The 10-year-old, who is the only daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, starred in a recent family snap shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales to commemorate their 15th wedding anniversary.
William and Kate marked the milestone with an adorable never-before-seen photo of the famous family, with their sons Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, eight, also featuring in the snap.
They shared a candid family photo taken on a recent holiday, rather than a portrait of themselves, which is usually tradition.

It was taken by photographer Matt Porteous, and shows Kate, Will, and the children lying down on the grass and holding hands from a bird's eye view, with their two spaniels also present.
The caption read: "Celebrating 15 years of marriage," alongside a red love heart.
But, as we say, something in the photo caught fans' attention - and it was all to do with Princess Charlotte's nails.

The young royal was sporting an icy blue manicure, which could be seen clearly in the photo.
And it looks like she clearly has a favourite colour, as she previously wore a baby blue Self Portrait dress for Easter Sunday earlier this month.
Charlotte also donned bright pink nail polish while watching Carlos Alcaraz take on Jannik Sinner in the final at Wimbledon last July.
According to Hello! Magazine, it's 'customary' for the royals to wear nude nails, toned-down makeup, and neat hair - however, this doesn't mean it always happens.
New Idea reports that Kate herself has previously raised eyebrows as she wore red nails to a church service back in 2023.
One fan penned on X: "Princess Charlotte loves her girly manicures".
The Prince and Princess of Wales aren't afraid to stray from tradition, as they also regularly take selfies with royal fans, which used to be more frowned upon.

Last year, in an episode of The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy, William explained: "I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good. And I embrace that and I enjoy that change. I don’t fear it.
"That’s the bit that excites me. The idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think need to happen.”
Fans of Will and Kate wrote on the anniversary post: "Beautiful family, a photo that perfectly conveys the love, resilience, trust, and complicity that William and Catherine have built over these 15 years. Happy Anniversary."
A second penned: "A beautiful photo! Happy wedding anniversary to the Prince and Princess of Wales."
And a third added: "What a beautiful picture!! We can feel your happiness! Thank you for this wonderful surprise. I want to wish you two a very happy 15th wedding anniversary!"
While a fourth wrote: "Stunning photo. Happiest Anniversary."
