Want to feel old? Princess Charlotte is now 11 years old. ELEVEN.
It feels like yesterday that we saw older brother Prince George cradling his baby sibling in his arms, but it has in fact been over a decade since she made her debut.
Kensington Palace shared an official photo to celebrate the milestone on Saturday (2 May), along with a statement that said: “Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!”

The pic, shot by photographer Matt Porteous during the family’s Easter break in Cornwall, shows Charlotte smiling as she stands in a field of daisies, dressed casually in a stripy jumper and jeans with her nails painted in light blue varnish.
But it wasn’t her outfit or the stunning location that people found themselves concentrating on, as fans honed in on one particular detail they couldn’t ignore.
“My word, she is so like William!” one person commented, with another agreeing she was the ‘spitting image of her daddy’.

Someone else typed: “Happy Birthday Charlotte, you look more and more like your daddy. A beautiful young lady. Enjoy your special day.”
A third added: "She looks so much like William. Happy Birthday."
William and Kate also shared a short video to mark their daughter’s birthday, releasing a series of clips from their Cornish holiday.
In one, Charlotte can be seen petting the family’s dogs, Orla and Otto, while other moments show her smiling on a boat, writing a message in the sand with stones and bowling a cricket ball on the beach.
“Thank you for the lovely birthday messages for Princess Charlotte, 11 today!” her parents said in the caption.

It’s been a busy time for the whole gang, who have celebrated a number of big milestones in recent weeks.
On 23 April, Prince Louis turned eight, with an official portrait showing him smiling by the sea - another taken by Porteous in Cornwall - while an accompanying montage video featured clips from their beach holiday.
Last week, it was the turn of William and Kate as they marked their 15th wedding anniversary.
“Celebrating 15 years of marriage,” they said in a statement as they shared a family photo of everyone lying on the grass together.
Just two days later, they also unveiled their newest member of the crew: a dog called Otto, who turned one the day before Charlotte's birthday.
"Awww how cute!! It’s so nice to meet you, Prince Otto! Happy birthday," one Instagrammer gushed.
"So adorable!!!!" another said.
