Prince William and Prince Harry's 20-year-old cousin Rosie has sadly been found dead in her home Wiltshire, United Kingdom.
Rosie Roche, who was the granddaughter of Princess Diana's uncle, making her the second cousin to the two princes, passed away at her family's home in Norton last Monday (14 July) with a 'firearm nearby', according to a report from The Sun.
The outlet additionally reported that Rosie' mother, Pippa, and sister, Agatha, found her after she began packing for a holiday with friends, adding that a coroner in Wiltshire and Swindon has opened an investigation, which has been adjourned until later this year (25 October).
As per The Sun, Coroner Grant Davies said that police 'have deemed the death as non-suspicious and there was no third-party involvement'.

In an obituary published by the Yorkshire Post over the weekend on Saturday (19 July), family members remembered Rosie as a 'darling' daughter, sister and granddaughter.
"Roche, Rosie Jeanne Burke. Died on Monday 14th July 2025," the obituary states. "Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, Granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long."
"Private family funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date," it added.

A spokesperson from the Durham Universit said that the English Literature student 'will be sorely missed'.
The tragic passing of Rosie comes over a year after the royal family suffered another devastating loss with the death of Thomas Kingston, the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor, the King’s second cousin.

Thomas was found dead in Gloucestershire on the 25th of February 2024, aged just 45 years old.

The cause of Thomas' death was previously confirmed to be as a result of a 'traumatic wound to the head' following a gun being found next to his body in the Cotswolds, where his parents reside.
Thomas' heartbroken wife, Gabriella, previously shared her belief that the 'impulsive action' taken by Thomas to end his life was a result of the medication he had been prescribed.
His grieving parents, Martin and Jill, told BBC Radio 4's Today at the time that there was 'nothing that raised any suspicions in our mind' during their lunch before Thomas' death, recalling: "He was normal, he was fun, we were laughing at various things."

In the interview, the pair explained that their son had been prescribed a common antidepressant after dealing with stress at work, which had extreme side effects.
The pair also added that Thomas should have been asked to sign a document acknowledging that suicide was one of the side effects of said medication, adding that while they felt he was well cared for at his health clinic, there were 'probably better ways' he could have been helped.
