People only just realising who Prince Louis really looks like in new birthday portrait
To celebrate Prince Louis’ birthday today, a new portrait has been released and followers of the Royal Family have just noticed who the young prince resembles.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared an adorable image of Louis, who is their youngest child.
In the portrait, taken by photographer Josh Shinner, the seven-year-old can be seen grinning while sitting in a woodland setting, on top of what appears to be a tree stump.

Many royal followers believe he looks just like his grandfather Michael Middleton, the father of Kate.
“Prince Louis takes after his grandfather,” one fan shared.
“Looking very much like grandpa Middleton,” said another royal admirer. “Happy birthday Prince Louis.”
“Oh this baby is a Middleton through and through,” a third X user commented.
“The Middleton gene is such a joy to see,” a fourth royal fan wrote.
“He looks so much like Catherine’s father,” an additional royal buff shared.
Other fans said Louis seems to have grown up a lot since the last time they saw pictures of him.
"Prince Louis growing up. In long trousers (jeans even) and awaiting new front teeth,” one person wrote. “Terrific photo. Wishing Louis a fun family day, a delicious homemade cake and a great year."
While another said: "He’s suddenly all grown up. Happy birthday to Prince Louis!!
And a third added: "Wow, so grown up all of a sudden! Happy Birthday Louis."
"Wow! 7 y/o already!? Time flies," said another. "Happy Birthday Prince Louis!! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!"
Prince Louis was born at 11.01am on 23 April 2018 in St Mary's Hospital in London. His birth certificate has some differences compared to that of his brother and sister's.
Louis' full title was listed on the certificate as 'His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge', in a similar way to how George's and Charlotte's were listed.
George was listed as 'His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge', and the Charlotte, 'Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge'.
The latter segment of the trio's name could also be switched out to 'of Wales', being that their father Prince William attained the 'Prince of Wales' position after his father Charles became king following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
On all three of their birth certificates, Kate is listed as 'Her Royal Highness Catherine Elizabeth, The Duchess of Cambridge', whilst William, 42, is listed as 'His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Phillip Louis, Duke of Cambridge'.
However, the way the registrar has signed each document is notably different. In the case of George and Charlotte, their certificates are hand-signed.
Meanwhile, Louis' is signed digitally, which suggests it was typed out on a computer, and that a different registrar filled out the document.
This may well just be a 'matter of preference' by the person 'who holds the job at the time whether to type it out or write it up by hand', according to Town & Country,
