A lip reader has revealed a frosty exchange during Prince Harry and Prince William's final appearance together before Harry and Meghan Markle quit as working Royals.
Harry and Meghan, who left the Royal Family in 2020, had been to many official events together as part of their duties.
However, before they officially left for Canada and then the US, they were seen at Commonwealth Day’s Westminster Abbey ceremony on 9 March of that year.

This is where Harry allegedly made a snide remark about his big brother to his wife.
While William and Harry have had a tumultuous relationship since Harry and Meghan claimed mistreatment and comments from certain members of the family, they were still cordial in public.

At Westminster Abbey, fans were able to determine a 'Hello Harry' from William, and a 'Hello' from Harry before lip reader Jeremy Freeman told The Daily Star what was said immediately afterwards.

Of course, Meghan said ‘hi’ to her sister-in-law Catherine and a ‘hello’ to William, who didn’t appear to see her at first.
Then, Harry turned to his wife and allegedly remarked: “At least they acknowledged, unlike last time.”
William also went to his wife to comment on the meeting, allegedly telling her: “That was executed well.”
He then said: “It's quite good to connect instead of holding things back like always.

“I know it's bad, I ought to have words with him. He'll shout and God knows what but things'll change, won't it?”
It was merely a month later that Harry left the Royal Family and made a life for himself in the US.
According to royal expert Robert Lacey in his book Battle of the Brothers, that service is one which snubbed the younger brother and his wife.
Harry was allegedly told he and Meghan would not be allowed to take part in 'The Procession of The Queen', even though they took part the previous year.

With that, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles (now King), Duchess Camilla, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge were going to take part on their own, and this was something that was printed in the Order of Service for all of the congregation to view for themselves.

Lacey wrote: “As ‘junior’ royals they would have to shuffle their way to their seats that afternoon like any other member of the congregation and take their places on the sidelines alongside their fellow ‘juniors’, Edward and Sophie Wessex.”
To this, Harry was reportedly 'holding back tears' throughout the service and was 'furious' at being 'shunted aside on this final appearance'.

Apparently, that’s when William and Catherine offered to join an ‘emotional’ Harry and Meghan as they waited for the Queen to arrive.
“It was a small but sensitive gesture of peace,” Lacey stated.
He added: “Within minutes of each other, the two princes and their wives slipped quietly into their seats, and both couples then sat waiting with everyone else for the Queen and Prince Charles to process in senior splendour down the aisle to open the ceremony.”
Tyla has contacted a representative for Prince Harry for a comment.
