Prince Harry has subtle response after Donald Trump makes savage comment about Meghan Markle when asked about deporting him

Prince Harry's remark at the Invictus Games may have been about Trump

Prince Harry’s comment at the Invictus games could be quite telling of his feelings about President Donald Trump, who recently made a scathing remark about Meghan Markle.

There’s nothing like a husband standing up for his wife - particularly if it’s against someone powerful.

When Harry and Meghan attended the games in Vancouver, Canada, that allows injured servicemen and women to compete against each other.

Harry founded the Games in London in 2014 and the seventh edition marked a fantastic turn out of 500 athletes who are competing over nine days.

However, one moment stood out which appears to have been a jab at the US president, Donald Trump.

It wasn’t too long ago that the president told the press that he isn’t interested in sending the Duke of Sussex back to the UK when he was asked about deporting the former royals.

After The Heritage Foundation brought Prince Harry's immigration into question, claiming that he may have lied on his visa application about his past with illegal drugs, it led to some people to ask for his immigration files to be made public.

This comes after Harry admitted he that he had previously taken drugs in his 2023 memoir Spare.

He revealed that he had taken cocaine, cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms.

He said in the book: "Of course I had been taking cocaine at that time. At someone’s house, during a hunting weekend, I was offered a line, and since then I had consumed some more."

Anyway, when Trump was asked about deporting Harry, Meghan and their two children, Trump said: “I don’t want to do that.”

Speaking to the New York Post, he added: “I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

Well, it appears that Harry is not taking that slight too lightly, and made a heartfelt speech during the Games, which may have been a jab at the president.

He said at Vancouver's BC Stadium: “At this moment, when there is no shortage of crises, no absence of uncertainty, no lack of weak moral character in the world, the values you embody, the way you carry yourselves – not only at the Invictus Games, but each and every day – your courage, your resilience, your humanity, illuminate a path forward for us all.”

Weak moral character, did you say? Ouch.

Trump’s comments about Markle in the past have been dug back up, and in an interview with Good Morning Britain in June 2019, Trump told Piers Morgan that he thinks she’s actually ‘nice’.

He claimed that his comments about her being ‘nasty’ was in retaliation to her comments about him in the press, and he was referring to her words, and not her character.

He said: "I wasn’t referring to she’s nasty - I said she was nasty about me, and essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me. So I said, but you know what, she’s doing a good job, I hope she enjoys her life.”

Trump added: “I think she’s very nice. Honestly, I don’t know her. So I have to be honest, I don’t know her but it just shows you how terrible the news can be because if you read that - I’m sure you did, that was talking about nasty - she was nasty about me.”

Well, he did call her ‘terrible’ this month… so it seems like there’s a bit of back and forth about how he feels about her.
