Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s ‘disgusted’ reaction at Wimbledon leaves people in disbelief

The Prince and Princess of Wales' eldest children attended the men's singles final on Sunday (13 July)

Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s hilarious Wimbledon reactions have got everyone talking, after they attended the tennis tournament with their parents on Sunday (13 July).

The eldest children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are just 11 and 10 years old, got to watch the dramatic men’s singles final from the Royal Box.

And they could barely hide their reactions as Jannik Sinner triumphed over the previous reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Both youngsters are rumoured to be huge fans of Spanish Wimbledon star Alcaraz, who lost the match in four sets.

And as more clips and photos from the day circulate on social media, people are convinced the youngsters were disappointed and were struggling to hide it.

George’s reaction in particular went viral online, as some X (formerly Twitter) users even joked that he placed a bet on his favourite player.

He and his sister both had a similar downcast look on their faces as the game came to a close, but were also seemingly trying to remain impartial as they got to grips with their roles as royals.

And now, as the joke carries, fans are laughing at a video of Charlotte and George getting signed tennis balls from Sinner, who became a Wimbledon champ for the first time at the weekend.

However, some social media users, and of course Alcaraz fans in particular, are convinced that little ones were trying to keep their true feelings to themselves.

One user wrote: “They clearly are not interested, just getting them signed because they are asked by their mum. They too wanted Carlos to win.”

Others joked: “The head tilt in disgust is frying me” and “This is sending me they are not even hiding it,” alongside a slew of laughing emojis.

George isn’t even looking Sinner in the eye,” added another theorist.

Meanwhile, someone else mused: “Kids are still honest, they haven’t learned the bad behaviour to pretend.”

Another user chimed in with: “Kids are not impressed,” while someone else added: “There’s an authentic quality to them that I like. As royals they’ll learn to hide their feelings eventually.”

But of course, not everyone was inspecting the video to come to this wild conclusion and others simply saw it for what it was - a sweet moment between the royal children and the new champion.

One X user gushed: “He signed a tennis ball for the future king of England. This has got to be the best day of this guy's life.”

And second penned: “Wow that is so lovely of Sinner to do this.”

“Sweet gesture. Sinner is a great champion and a very nice person,” wrote someone else.

Fans were also loving that the siblings made sure to secure a signed ball for their younger brother Prince Louis, seven, who didn’t attend the game.

Kate told Sinner: "We brought one for their brother as well."

Before William quipped: "Louis would be very upset otherwise."

A royal fan wrote on social media: “Loved how they took one for their brother back home.”
