Did Meghan Markle’s Suits character predict her future?
Some fans of the beloved drama series seem to think so, and it’s all due to a scene in the third season.
Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, the 43-year-old starred in the legal drama from 2011 to 2018 as Rachel Zane.
Known for being ambitious and driven, paralegal Rachel works at the fictional firm Pearson Hardman with dreams of becoming a lawyer. Eventually she catches feelings for Mike Ross and soon discovers his secret (he doesn’t own a law degree). Later on in the show they get married and leave the firm.

In real life, around the same time as the debut of season six in July 2016, Meghan was living her very own fairytale romance. A mutual friend set up Meghan and Prince Harry on a blind date in London when the Suits actress was in town for Wimbledon.
Sparks clearly flew and a royal love story soon unfurled, as the couple went on their second date on 4 July, according to Meghan’s most recent post.

Almost a decade later, the Sussexes are now married, the proud parents of two children and they stepped back as working royals.

Within a few weeks, Meghan travelled with her future hubby to Botswana where they camped under the stars. News of the relationship broke in October 2016, with the wedding taking place in May 2018, while the couple’s engagement marked the end of Meghan’s acting career.
The series has proven to be hit in the years since it concluded in 2019 largely due to it being available to binge on Netflix.
But one scene that is now considered prophetic involves Rachel and Donna Paulsen (played by Sarah Rafferty) debating whether Donna should date a colleague who was visiting from the London office.
A potential love interest from the UK? Meghan can obviously relate to that, however the scene includes a few tidbits about the gentleman that has sparked even more interest given Meghan’s new life as the Duchess of Sussex.

“Why should I go out with him? Just because he’s charming and hot?” Rafferty’s character asked in the scene.
“And witty and British,” Rachel replied.
“And has a title!” Donna said.
“He does?” Rachel replies, intrigued.

“No, but even if he did, that wouldn’t be a reason. I told you, Rach, I don’t mix business with pleasure,” Donna explains.
“Business? He’s only here for six weeks,” Rachel says, referring to how long Stephen Huntley (played by Max Beesley) would be visiting.
“And he is based out of London,” Donna adds. “It’s practically a different company,” Rachel continues.

“And it’s definitely a different country,” Donna added.
“So you’ll consider it?” Rachel asked.
“Nope,” Donna declares.
Fancy watching it yourself? The scene happens in season three, episode four.
