Meghan Markle fans note 'coincidental' timing of As Ever restock after bombshell claims against Royal Family
Followers of the Duchess of Sussex have spotted what they believe is a rather interesting coincidence in the timing of her latest product roll-out.
Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand As Ever restocked one of its bestselling products on Tuesday (22 Sept) - the same day that the British monarchy was hit by several damning allegations.
The company's social media team shared a picture of a new navy bookmark on Instagram, placed delicately between the pages of a book.
"Our Latest Keepsake," the post was captioned. "As Ever’s best-selling bookmark returns tomorrow in a brand new luxurious navy blue with a new reminder to hold close."

Meghan, 45, originally launched the leather bookmark in January as part of the first As Ever product drop of 2026. Designed by the former Suits actress herself, the bookmark was made from vegetable-tanned leather and stamped in gold with the words, 'Fell asleep here', in her handwriting.
It was priced at $18 and reportedly sold out within around 10 minutes of its launch.
The original release also included a 'Moment to Unwind' set containing the bookmark, peppermint tea and sage honey with honeycomb.
The timing of Meghan's latest release has prompted some amused reactions online, however, with several fans suggesting the bookmark could be used for some very particular reading, given that the product was made available to buy the same day Earl Spencer's bombshell new book was released.
Charles Spencer's highly anticipated memoir Swan Song: Diana, My Sister also hit shelves on Tuesday, containing a series of claims about the Royal Family, specifically with regard to the aftermath of his sister, Princess Diana's death in 1997.
Among the most widely reported claims is the 65-year-old's account of a conversation he says he had with then-Prince Charles following Diana's passing.
Spencer alleges that Charles told him, 'We'll forget her soon enough', when discussing the late Princess of Wales - a claim Buckingham Palace strongly pushed back against ahead of the memoir's publication.
The Palace said, while it does not comment on books as a matter of principle, that grief can affect memory and judgement 'in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss'.
Spencer has since stood by his account, telling the BBC that he was telling the truth.
The memoir also includes Spencer's recollections of Diana's final years and his memories of her sons, William and Harry, following their mother's death.
He has separately addressed the brothers' long-running rift, which many believe was centred around Harry's relationship with Meghan.
As a reminder, the couple resigned from their royal responsibilities in 2020, citing alleged mistreatment by senior royals and abuse from the British tabloid press as part of the reasons for their departure.
They subsequently moved from the UK to the US.
When asked to address the claims he made about Harry and William in his book, Spencer told the BBC he's on the side of both of Diana's sons and hopes their relationship will eventually be resolved.
As we say, however, given her prior tensions with the monarchy, some inquisitive spectators convinced themselves that Meghan's bookmark release had been cleverly timed to coincide with Spencer's memoir.
"Just surprised the bookmark doesn’t come in a bundle with Charles Spencer’s new book," one X user teased.
Another went on to joke: "I see Meghan Markle has released a nice new bookmark on the day Earl Spencer’s Diana book is released [laughing emoji], subtle 'as ever'."
A third also leaned into the coincidence, posting: "Get your As Ever Bookmarks from tomorrow in time for your Swan Song book arrival… [wink emoji]".
Someone else added: "Duchess Meghan has a new bookmark for purchase, just in time to use in Swan Song. I already have the original black bookmark, and Swan Song is arriving from Amazon today."
There is, of course, no indication that the timing of the As Ever restock was connected to Spencer's memoir, and neither Meghan nor the brand has suggested that it was.
The renewed focus on Diana's family also comes during a particularly notable period for Meghan and Prince Harry.
The couple recently returned to the UK following a six-year absence, with the move already having generated plenty of headlines.
Their relationship with the Royal Family remains under intense scrutiny, particularly as Harry, 41, has previously spoken about wanting reconciliation with his family - especially his father and brother.
In a BBC interview last year, he claimed: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more; life is precious."
