Ever since their romance was made public all the way back in 2003, the Prince and Princess of Wales have boasted a rather low-key, privatised relationship - particularly when it comes to PDAs.
We can count on one hand how many times we've seen the married couple locking lips in public - and when it comes to gushy discussions about one another with the press, Kate and William have always kept their cards close to their chest.
Naturally, therefore, fans of the future King and Queen were somewhat surprised this week, after a lip-reader claimed to have spotted the mother-of-three pining over her husband during a royal outing.
Joined by their children - Princes George, 11, and Louis, seven, as well as Princess Charlotte, 10 - the Wales' made an appearance in London yesterday (8 May) for 80th Anniversary of VE Day.

The celebration marks the German's eventual surrender during WWII, and commemorates the lives tragically lost during warfare.
Earlier today, William and Kate attended an official church service with their kids - just three days after the family-of-five were seen watching the annual VE Day parade from the balcony at Buckingham Palace, alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Much has already been said about the Wales' family's appearance on Monday, with the youngest, Louis, said to have stolen to show once again with his notoriously mischievous antics.
Another hotly-discussed moment reportedly saw Kate broke her stoic tradition, with a lip-reading alleging she spotted the Princess, 43, gushing over husband William, 42, in conversation with their daughter.

According to body language expert Nicola Hickling, who spoke to The Sun earlier this week, Kate could be seen leading towards Charlotte and asking her, 'Doesn't Papa look smart today?', referring to the future King, who donned a military uniform.
I know, god Kate, control yourself!
Anyway - as we say, another hotly discussed moment from this week's festivities saw Louis take centre-stage for a number of reasons.

The youngster - who previously viral for the hilarious faces he pulled during The late Queen's jubilee in 2022 - firstly began inquiring about the weather, having become bored by the royal appointment.
According to Hickling, William could be seen telling Louis, 'Look at this I think it's going to be quite wet today', to which the seven-year-old is said to have brutally quipped back: "Wasn't this supposed to be fun?"
Despite his father calmly dismissing Louis' savage comment - reportedly telling him, 'It's not going to be long and I want you to be taking an interest' - the child was later seen poking fun at his big brother, Prince George.

According to footage shared by Sky News, George could at one point be seen running his fingers through his golden locks to move it out of his face, after which Louis copied the move with an obvious display of exaggeration.
"Prince Louis copying his brother Prince George is so funny," one royal fan subsequently noted on social media.
"I cannot with Prince Louis. Look at him mimicking Prince George and adding some ‘snazz’ to it. He is truly the moment," joked a second.
A third went on: "That child IS EXTRA."
