Kate Middleton and Prince William are set to be given new royal titles in 2026.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, who will become the new King and Queen of the United Kingdom after King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, will become Grantors of Royal Warrants in the spring of next year.

Charles granted the pair such titles earlier this year.

In short, the new titles will mean that William and Kate will now have the authority to publicly endorse their favourite brands.

"Royal Warrants are only granted to individuals or companies that have made a continuing and significant supply of goods and/or services, ordered and paid for by the Household of the Grantor, over a minimum trading period of five years within the last seven years," the Royal Warrant Holders Association's website explains.

A Grantor of Royal Warrants can give recognition to the royal family’s 'preferred product or service'.

So, for example, Charles and Camilla have granted Royal Warrants to the ginger ale brand Schweppes as well as skincare company Heaven Health and Beauty, alongside nearly 600 other brands and businesses.

Once a company or individual is granted a Royal Warrant, they are given 'the right to display the appropriate Royal Arms on their product, packaging, stationery, advertising, premises and vehicles' for the five-year warrant period.

It's clear that many royal fans will be keen to see which brands William and Kate's grant the accolade to, especially after the whole 'Kate effect' and 'William effect' phenomenon, with Elizabeth Holmes, author of HRH: So Many Thoughts on Royal Style, telling Town & Country back in July: "There is a large swath of royal watchers who came to follow the royal family through her and, importantly, shop the brands she wears.

"I think the Princess now being able to grant royal warrants will introduce this honour in a new way to a new generation of royal watchers."

Meanwhile, royal journalist Richard Palmer dubbed the Royal Warrant as 'the gold standard of endorsements', telling the outlet: "Kate’s warrant will be especially sought after."

Speaking of Kate's plans for next year, royal astrologer Debbie Frank says that the mum-of-two is set for a milestone year of success and 'high achievement' as she will 'grow in stature and confidence throughout the year'.

Speaking to Hello!, Debbie predicted: "January pinpoints 2026 as a milestone year for Kate. The month of May places her as a leading royal star, bringing hearts and minds together."

The expert continued: "She grows in stature and confidence throughout the year, driving her Capricorn Sun up the mountain of making a difference in the world. Inwardly, she tries to pace herself, but at times feels the strain.

"However, she is also buoyed up by the sheer love the public feel for her and her pride in her family."
