The US government and Department of War just released a second batch of top secret documents relating to UFO sightings.
It follows the first released back on May 8, 2026, and the new documents include references to unexplained green orbs, discs and even fireballs.
Back in February, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social: "Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"
According to Reuters, some 222 files have been released in the second batch.

The release includes 116 pages of documentation regarding a top secret facility in Sandia, New Mexico, from 1948 to 1950.
"This file contains 209 sightings of 'green orbs', 'discs', and 'fireballs' reported near the military base," the Defense Department said.
The official website reads: "In response to President Donald J. Trump’s directive for transparency on U.S. government information regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), the Department of War (DOW), with support from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), is overseeing government wide efforts to expeditiously find, review, identify, declassify and publicly release unresolved UAP-related records and historical documents in the federal government’s possession."
"This is an unprecedented, historic undertaking that requires coordination between dozens of agencies and the review of tens of millions of records, many existing only on paper, spanning many decades."
They added that information would be released on a 'rolling basis' as they are discovered and declassified.

"The materials archived here are unresolved cases, meaning the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena,"
They added that the unresolved cases can happen 'for a variety of reasons' such as insufficient data.
,"Under this Administration, we will pursue the truth and share our findings with the American people," they added.
US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, also shared a statement: "The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government’s understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fuelled justified speculation — and it’s time the American people see it for themselves. This release of declassified documents demonstrates the Trump Administration’s earnest commitment to unprecedented transparency."
It is expected that more documents will be released in the coming weeks.
One commenter wrote: "Thank You President Trump for giving us access to the files!
"We Americans are ready for the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Keep releasing, we’re ready!"
Another added: "The White House really dropped the second batch of UFO files like it's a Netflix season finale.... Bro we went from 'it's weather balloons' to 'here's the folder, enjoy' real quick. Next drop better have the actual footage or I'm not buying the 'transparency effort' marketing."
Not everyone was impressed though: "The timing of these 'leaks' is always suspect. Whenever there’s political heat, suddenly we’re talking about UAPs to distract everyone. Old trick, new packaging."
