Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with King Charles III earlier today to discuss his country's ongoing invasion by Russian forces - but one aspect of their get-together has seemingly set tongues wagging.

The Eastern European leader arrived at Windsor Castle on Monday (23 June) to have a lunch meeting with the 76-year-old monarch to discuss his neighbours' bombardment of his country.

A devastating 352 Russian drones and 16 missiles were fired at Ukraine overnight, killing at least 10 civilians, seven of whom were located in the country's capital, Kyiv.

Later today, he'll meet with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at Downing Street, who is expected to 'reiterate our steadfast support for Ukraine'.

However, one element of King Charles and Zelenskyy's meet-up seems to have caught the air of spectators - Zelenskyy's choice of clothing.

In the photos, the 47-year-old could be seen donning an all-black look consisting of a crew neck number with a matching suit-like jacket and trousers. The King, meanwhile, could be seen wearing a grey two-piece suit, with a beige patterned tie.

Though there's nothing surprising about Zelenskyy wearing such formal attire to meet with a monarch, many have noticed the contrast between the Ukrainian's outfit to meet King Charles, and what he wore to meet with Donald Trump during the infamous White House blow-out in February.

Remember, when the US leader warned Zelenskyy he was 'gambling with World War III', and VP JD Vance slammed him for not being 'thankful' for the military support the US supposedly gave to Ukraine? Yeah, that little bust-up.

Anyway, many witnesses claimed they couldn't help but notice the difference in the outfits Zelenskyy wore for the special occasions.

"Ohhhh a suit for the King!" one wrote online.

Another added: "Nice suit."

"He’s wearing a semi-suit," a third commented. "That should fix everything."

Earlier this year, Zelenskyy came under fire for failing to dress in what many social media critics deemed to be the appropriate attire to meet Trump.

During his row with the Republican, Chief White House correspondent for right-wing website Real America's Voice, Brian Glenn, hit out at the Ukrainian, demanding: "Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in this country’s office and you refuse to wear a suit."

In response, Zelenskyy responded that he will 'wear a costume after this war will finish', referencing the fact he has worn an army sweatshirt and trousers since Russia invaded his country in February 2022.

"Maybe something like yours, maybe something better, I don’t know," he said, before adding: "We will see. Maybe something cheaper."

And while Ukraine's war with Russia is tragically not yet over, Zelenskyy seems to have put aside his preference for the sake of the King.
