Donald Trump screams at man who called him ‘pedophile protector’ with explicit response

It comes shortly after Mark Ruffalo called Trump a 'pedophile' during the Golden Globes over the weekend (11 January)

United States President Donald Trump had a major outburst at a man who called him a 'pedophile protector' with a very explicit response.

On Tuesday (13 January), the 79-year-old Republican toured the Ford F-150 plant at the Detroit Economic Club before delivering a speech. In a video obtained by TMZ, the individual can be heard shouting at Trump while walking the factory floor during his tour.

While it's not entirely clear what the worker's full sentence was, TMZ reported that it included the words 'pedophile protector'.

This appears to be a reference to Trump's previous connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide while awaiting sex-tracking charges back in 2019. Trump socialised and partied with Epstein in the 1990s and 2000s, before their fallout, and has continuously denied any wrongdoing or any knowledge of Epstein's crimes.

Tension has amped up following the Department of Justice's slow release of the Epstein files, with many left beyond outraged at the unfolding ordeal.

As per the TMZ video, POTUS can then be seen responding to the person with the outlet claiming he yelled, 'F**k you', before putting his middle finger up.

The White House has since issued a statement on the matter with Communications Director Steven Cheung telling TMZ: "A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response."

After catching light of the clip, fans rushed to social media to share their reactions.

"How presidential," quipped one X user while a second slammed: "He’s a literal manchild."

A third lamented: "Yikes."

"Is this your president, America?" questioned a fourth, while a fifth commiserated: "Pretty much sums up the timeline we’re living in."

A sixth awed: "No way this is real damn."

"Baited the president of the USA LMFAOOOOOOOO," jabbed another.

And a final X user sarcastically echoed: "Love that our president is so easily baited by a heckler."

Trump was similarly labelled a 'pedophile' by Hollywood A-lister Mark Ruffalo during the Golden Globes on Sunday (11 January).

Ruffalo said: "He’s the worst human being. If we’re relying on this guy’s morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we’re all in a lot of trouble."

For added context, in May 2024, Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records. That same year, he was found liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1994 by a jury; however, he wasn't convicted due to the suit being a civil one.

He has also never been charged with any sex crime, including pedophilia.

Returning the conversation back to Goode, he added: "So this is for her. This is for the people in the United States who are terrorised and scared today.

"I know I’m one of them. I love this country. And what I’m seeing here happening is not America."

Replying to Page Six's coverage of Ruffalo's comments, Cheung wrote on Twitter: "Poor thing Mark Ruffalo, star of She-Hulk, is one of the worst actors in the business.

"More impressively, he's an even worse human being by spewing outright lies because deep down inside, he hates himself for knowingly subjecting the public to his god awful performance."
