Elon Musk might be Donald Trump's biggest fan, but apparently, his son X Æ A-12 (or X, for short) is far from it.

The four-year-old joined his Tesla boss father for Musk's White House debut earlier this week, with spectators believing X issued Trump with a hilarious four-word statement.

On Tuesday (11 February), 53-year-old Musk - Trump's new Department of Government Efficiency co-lead - stood in the Oval Office to witness the new president signing an executive order about his role.

Surprisingly, however, despite the seriousness of the meeting - which centred on the controversial power Musk has been given to cut the size and spending of the federal workforce - the tech boss brought along his toddler son, X.

Images and footage from the high-stakes get-together have since gone viral online, with spectators accusing the youngster of stealing the show with the erratic behaviour he exhibited all morning.

Not only did X interrupt his father several times while Musk was questioned about the level of authority his new government position has afforded him, but another moment saw him picking his nose before wiping his bogies on the Resolute Desk.

Soon afterwards, the internet became inundated with memes and jibes about X's rib-tickling antics.

"Trump seethes as President Musk's kid eats his boogers then paws his desk," one teased.

And as we say, some internet users have since been taking a closer look at what X was actually interrupting his father to say.

In one clip in particular from the line of questioning, the tot can be seen wandering close to 78-year-old Trump, with some spectators believing he then issued the controversial politician with a savage four-word statement.

According to one Twitter user, X tells the Republican leader, "You're not the president," before adding, "You need to go away."

And apparently, several other eagle-eyed viewers are in agreement.

"Elon Musk's son tells Trump, 'You’re not the President and you need to go away'," another tweeted earlier this week.

"'You’re not the president…you need to go away' this is actually what Elon’s little son said to Trump caught on a hot mic. Wow!" a third penned.

"I wonder who he hear that from? I bet that little mini Musk will never be in the oval office again!"

This isn't the only segment of the interview which set tongues wagging, however, with some believing X attempted to quieten Trump.

One tweeted: "Little X tells Trump 'I want you to shush your mouth'. Then picks his nose and puts buggers on the Presidential desk."

The same user went on to hit out, however: "Trump is not in control. This is a f**king clown show for real. LOL what a fucking brat tho... Guess where little X learned that from? Sup daddy."

"Also for those who wanted it," another added, before sharing a video of X with the caption, 'I want you to shut your f*****g mouth up'.

Musk addressed X's antics during the meeting, telling reporters: "I thought my son might enjoy this, but it's, he's sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff. So it's been hard to hear sometimes."

He told the toddler: "Hey! Stop that."
