Following an appearance at Donald Trump's controversial UFC cage fight last night, Tyson and Paris Fury awoke to find themselves in the bad books of millions of their fans.
The couple attended the White House celebration on Sunday (14 Jun), where former heavyweight champion boxer Tyson was seen wearing a cap with the message 'Donald Trump for Prime Minister' embroidered across the front, which fans were surprised to see.
The 37-year-old paired his hotly debated headwear with a bedazzled black suit.
Later, when he emerged from the wings of the presidential residence to Kings of Leon's 'Sex on Fire', he'd swapped the hat for a red and white pro-Trump hat, adorned with US and UK flags.

The occasion, called the 'UFC Freedom 250', and served to mark both 250 years of American independence and Republican leader Trump's 80th birthday, was held on the White House's south lawn.

Tyson later shared a snap alongside Trump and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Instagram, captioned: "power pic @realdonaldtrump @danawhite @zuck no words needed!"
He also uploaded a selfie alongside his best-selling author wife Paris, 36, captioned: "@realdonaldtrump for UK PM #makebritaingreatagain @parisfury1."
Mother-of-seven Paris herself shared several images from the evening, including one of her and Tyson standing before the doors to one of the White House wings.
"Only in America!" she wrote in the caption. "Can’t believe we are at the White House walking around, then watching the fights in Donald Trump's garden!
"Whirl wind few days! @tysonfury."
The couple's attendance hasn't gone down very well with a number of onlookers, however.

Taking to the comments on Paris' latest upload, hundreds of users complained about their apparent support of the right-wing leader.
"I love you guys, but I can't do this. Don't lose your Fury values," one hit out.
Another admitted: "Cannot believe you have that hat on - what a sell out you are @tysonfury."
"Ahhh, considering how the US government have treated Romani people forever, this is a bit of a kick in the teeth to the ancestry, but go on," a third Instagram user wrote.
A fourth continued: "I'd love to see the drop-off figures after posting this. Wow. What a choice to make."
"Yiiiiikes. Loved the show, but this is too far and so disappointing," another added.
A sixth agreed: "So disappointing. This is not the flex you think it is."

Despite the backlash, this is far from the first time that Tyson has come under fire for his affiliation with Trump.
After several of his championship wins, the politician publicly congratulated the British sportsman, inviting him over to the White House.
Tyson has also compared himself to the former businessman, regularly using his MAGA slogan after changing it to 'Make boxing great again'.
Speaking about Trump during a conversation about his retirement back in February, the boxer boasted: "I came back to make boxing great again. Like Donald Trump wants to make America great again, I want to make boxing great again."
