President Donald Trump has been slammed online for his ‘racist’ rant during a speech in Pennsylvania this week (9 December).

The anti-immigration talk was captured on Tuesday when Trump began talking about Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, leading him to call out ‘s***hole countries’.

He said as he addressed supporters in the crowd at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono.

"Let's have a few from from Denmark. Do you mind sending us a few people? Send us some nice people. Do you mind? But we always take people from Somalia, places that are a disaster, right? Filthy, dirty, disgusting, ridden with crime. The only thing they're good at is going after ships," Trump said.

The speech was initially pegged to deliver information about his economic agenda but things took a turn as Trump began to take aim at Omar, a Somali American who currently represents Minnesota, which has a small Somali population.

At one point, he alleged she ‘married her brother’ to gain a US citizenship.

Omar responded to his words on a post on X that same night where she claimed he is obsessed with her.

She wrote: "Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help. Since he has no economic policies to tout, he’s resorting to regurgitating bigoted lies instead. He continues to be a national embarrassment.”

But she wasn’t the only one to be disgusted about his speech.

Many people online, namely Reddit, took to the forum to slam his remarks, with some saying it was ‘vile’, and he made them feel ashamed to be a US citizen.

One person scathed: “He's so f****** vile.”

One user asked: “Does anyone else just facepalm at everything that comes out of this man?”

Someone else said: “This is the most shameful display ever put by a US president, and that's saying something if you take into account the last 10 years. What will f***** Congress say in the future to explain this? They fail not only to defend one of their own, who is an equal to the president, but the whole concept of free speech, equality in the eyes of the Constitution and just common decency.”

Another wrote: “Im so embarrassed to be American. This is disgusting.”

In the speech, Trump appeared to mispronounce her name and then he referred to Omar's hijab as a turban.

"I love her, she comes in, does nothing but b****. She's always complaining. She comes from a country where, I mean, it's considered about the worst country in the world, right?" Trump said on the stage.

"She should get the hell out. Throw her the hell out," he added.
