A journalist has made a shocking claim about the alleged status of Donald Trump’s relationship with his wife, Melania Trump, claiming everything may not be as it seems with the pair.
In the last seven years, journalist and biographer Michael Wolff has released four controversial books on Trump.
These include 2018’s hit Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, its 2019 follow-up Siege: Trump under Fire, and 2021’s Landslide.

His latest, All or Nothing, released in February 2025, chronicles the Republican’s 2024 campaign trial, which saw him defeating Democratic ticket Kamala Harris at the polls.
The 71-year-old journalist, who hails from New Jersey, obtained a National Magazine and Mirror Award during his career.
Once again, Wolff is making headlines with his most recent appearance on The Daily Beast Podcast, where he made more claims about the businessman's life.

The chat saw writer and podcast host Joanna Coles pick over the first few months of Trump's second term in the White House, which included renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the 'Gulf of America', imposing strict tariffs, and confronting world leaders in the Oval Office.
Eventually, talk turned to his relationship with his wife, Melania, who has been married to the 47th POTUS since 2005 and shares the 19-year-old Barron Trump with him.
The 55-year-old previously announced she'd be splitting time between the White House, New York and Florida during her husband's second presidential run.
The extent of how much time Melania had dedicated to Washington DC was reportedly revealed earlier this month by The New York Times.

The article claimed she'd spent fewer than 14 days in the White House since her spouse's inauguration on January 20—and now Wolff has had his say.
Amid the publication of the report, Wolff told Coles that he believed Trump and Melania were all but 'separated'.
"They clearly do not in any way inhabit a marriage as we define marriage," he claimed. "I think maybe we can more specifically say they live separate lives. They are separated. The President of the United States and the First Lady are separated.

"The American public has been sold a bill of goods here that, you know, Donald Trump and his glamorous wife. That runs entirely counter to all of the facts here, including the fact that they don't spend any time together."
Referring to the New York Times report, Coles said: "I think the message was about how many times she'd been to the White House or how many days she'd been there in the first 100 days, right? And it turned out to be 14."

Officials reportedly told the Times that Melania is at the White House 'more often than the public knows' but did not give a definite number in her defense.

"But they didn't go and say, 'This is obviously a marriage in trouble'." Wolff said. "The American public has been sold a bill of goods here that, you know, Donald Trump and his glamorous wife.
"That runs entirely counter to all of the facts here, including the fact that they don't spend any time together."
White House communications director Steven Cheung has denied Wolff's claims, however, describing him as an 'imbecile of the highest order' and a 'blithering idiot' who has been 'widely discredited due to his blatant lies and fabrications'.
"His Trump Derangement Syndrome-addled brain has caused him to lead a miserable existence devoid of reality," Cheung said to The Independent.
This week, Melania appeared alongside her husband to sign the order for the Take It Down Act, which she'd previously campaigned for earlier this year.
However, in a first for a First Lady, she also included her signature at the request of Trump, a move which caused her to receive some flack on social media.
Tyla has contacted The White House for further comment.
