Donald Trump is arguably one of the most-talked-about public figures at the moment and it's clear that over the past week or so, he's grinded the gears of a whole bunch of people due to his 'nauseatingly embarrassing' behaviour.
The 79-year-old Republican has already been slammed after making US troops do a 'humiliating act' for Russian President Vladimir Putin during the Trump-Putin summit last Friday (15 August), and the latest outrage online is all to do with one act he did in front of European leaders.
During French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's White House visit on Monday (18 August), Trump took the time to show off his hat collection, many of which could be seen with his signature phrases like 'GULF OF AMERICA', 'TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING', 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN', 'USA' and even the quite literally unconstitutional 'TRUMP 2028'.

After an official of the White House shared a glimpse of Trump's show and tell to Macron and Zelenskyy on Twitter, critics rushed to social media to call him out over his 'childish' conduct.
One Instagram user hit out: "What an embarrassing joke."
"What a total embarrassment," slammed a second, while a third echoed: "He is embarrassing."
And a fourth questioned: "This has to be a joke right?"

"Like a kid showing his toys to his friends," lamented a fifth, while a sixth chimed in: "Child showing his room to visitors."
"Nauseatingly embarrassing," slammed another. "These people must just laugh and laugh when they walk away from Trump. Can’t wait till this national shame is over."
And a final Instagram user pointed out: "Politics aside that man moves merch."

Trump has a history of flogging a whole bunch of items other than just hats, including watches, homeware, skincare, luggage, clothing, golfing gear and candles - just to name a handful.
However, as we say, it's his 'Trump 2028' hats which prove to be particularly problematic.
Now, the headwear piece in question currently retails for $50 on the Trump Store, alongside a 'Trump 2028 Shirt' for $36.
The product description reads: "The future looks bright! Rewrite the rules with the Trump 2028 high crown hat. Fully embroidered with a snap closure in the back, this will become your new go-to hat."

The website adds that the hat is 'Made in America', as well as featuring a snap closure, an embroidered front and flag 'emroidery' (they clearly spelt embroidery wrong on the official website) on the side.

Understandably, the hats sparked a heated discussion online given the fact it's unconstitutional for someone to be President more than two times.
Trump and his allies have time and time again flirted with the prospect of him running for a third term in 2028 - meaning he'd be the grand age of 82 when he hypothetically assumed the role of the 48th President of the United States (after previously being both the 45th and 47th).

However, as we know, the Constitution forbids such a thing from happening.
As per the National Constitution Center, the 22nd Amendment reads: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."
