A former White House Communications Director has opened up about the most 'embarrassing' thing he ever witnessed President Trump do.
Anthony Scaramucci served the Republican in 2017 for just 11 days before launching a strongly worded attack on members of his administration, after which he was sensationally dismissed.
Since then, the financier and broadcaster has held no reservations in informing the world of the 79-year-old's most damning social mishaps, and biggest political errors.
Such was the case this week, when Scaramucci, 61, made an appearance on The Rest is Politics US podcast, which was recorded live at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday (16 Jul).

There, he was asked by a member of the audience if he'd ever seen the right-wing leader humbled.
In response, Scaramucci admitted that he had fallen witness to a particularly humiliating moment, which saw Trump being forced to issue a rare apology to his wife Melania, 55.
Beginning by claiming the instance marked the President's sole apology in over 20 years, the father-of-five told attendees: "The most embarrassing thing I saw him do, which was one of the things he did not want to do, is apologise to Melania."

Apparently, Trump's statement of regret was issued in October 2016, after a recording was leaked that heard him discussing his desire to grope, 'kiss' and have 'sex' with women whenever he wishes.
"I can tell you the exact day he did it. He did it at 11.50 p.m., and he did it on October 7, 2016," Scaramucci continued.
"And why is that? At 4 p.m. that day, they released the Access Hollywood tape where he was on the bus with Billy Bush, saying things that were wholly inappropriate. They were all panicked and Trump was embarrassed by it."

For those in need of a reminder, the audio recording heard the President bragging about attempting to 'f**k' an unnamed woman in excessively vulgar terms.
"I made a move on her, and I failed," Trump said in a hot mic conversation that took place in 2005. "I’ll admit it. I did try and f**k her. I moved on her like a b****. She was married. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful."
Trump went on to confess: "I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the p***y. You can do anything."
According to Scaramucci, amidst the media frenzy that followed the scandal, Trump issued an apology to Melania, to whom he's been married since the year the comments were first made.

"He apologised to Melania Trump, and he was very embarrassed while he was doing it," Scaramucci claimed.
The mother-of-one - who shares 19-year-old son Barron with the politician - later told Fox News that her husband 'apologised to me' for the 'offensive' and 'inappropriate' remarks.
