Everyone's talking about Donald Trump's burgundy scarf again - and this time, they think they've worked out a hidden meaning behind it.
In case you missed it, the internet went into meltdown on Saturday (22 November) when the US President, 79, stepped out sporting a black wool button-up coat and burgundy scarf.
The Republican leader is rarely seen in anything other than a black or navy suit and red tie, so this made for quite the dramatic fashion change.
And some Americans were convinced it was a knock-on effect after Trump met with New York City Mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani last week, joking that the Republican leader was inspired by the Millennial politician's style.

Mamdani made history when he was elected earlier this month, becoming the Big Apple's first Muslim mayor, the first of South Asian heritage, and the first born in Africa.
At 34 years old, he was also the first Millennial to take the position, with his wife Rama Duwaji becoming NYC's first-ever Gen Z first lady.

As we say, social media users hilariously came up with the theory that Trump was simply taking style inspiration from Mamdani, despite the two previously butting heads on politics.

But now, a new conspiracy has emerged and people have realised they recognise the burgundy scarf from somewhere else entirely - The Godfather Part III.
The movie, which premiered in December 1990, saw Al Pacino wear a red scarf worn in his most famous role of Don Corleone in the crime film series.
And people think that Trump actually got his inspiration from the film - or at least, even if it wasn't intentional, it's reminding Americans of the iconic movie.
Some people have even gone as far to theorise that Trump wore the scarf as a symbol that he's taking on the famous lines from the film: "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" and, "Never hate your enemies, it affects your judgment."

Republicans think this is why Trump was so friendly with Mamdani during the Oval Office meeting, despite previously calling the Democratic socialist a '100 percent Communist lunatic' and a 'total nut job'.
One Twitter user penned: "Michael Corleone: Never hate your enemies. It affects your judgment. POTUS wore the scarf after meeting with Zohan. Optics matter."

While others simply penned: "Godfather 3" and "Not to mention the 'Godfather' burgundy scarf that matches Melanie's 'V' outfit she wore at the Inauguration... She had a burgundy tie on that hung out momentarily. Although I have been called crazy but JUST SAYIN."

Others chimed in with: "Trump is like a godfather, advising and resolving various disputes" and "Anyone notice the Godfather outfit President Trump sported yesterday?"
"Cozy Scarf Godfather Legend Trump," wrote another, while someone else agreed: "President Trump is the Godfather! I'm loving this look for @realDonaldTrump."
And other people quipped: "Oh, Trump looks like the Godfather" and "Looks like Godfather 3 at the end."
Someone else pointed out: "You never watched The Godfather did you? Watch the movie. Trump’s keeping his enemies closer."
