Charlie Kirk’s face could be about to be placed on US currency alongside 6-word message

The late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s face could soon be placed on US currency alongside a six-word message.

The 31-year-old right-wing campaigner, well known for his polarising social views and Second Amendment advocacy, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University earlier this month (10 September).

News of Kirk's assassination swept through the nation and the rest of the world with fellow MAGA and right-wing supporters mourning his death and sharing several tributes to him, including ordering his favourite Starbucks drink and demanding the barista write the name 'Charlie Kirk' on their cup.

Most of the Trump cabinet attended Kirk's memorial service in Arizona last weekend (21 September) with Vice President JD Vance and Trump both speaking onstage.

And it seems like the latest tribute to the divisive political figure is to plaster his likeness on nearly half a million new silver dollar coins.

Now, as we all know, major figures from American history, such as the Founding Fathers and past presidents, appear on various denominations of US currency, and a select number of commemorative coins have been issued over the years.

And Kirk could be joining the likes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin in tribute as two Republican lawmakers, August Pfluger of Texas and Abraham Hamadeh of Arizona, have told Fox News Digital they plan to introduce the legislation to honour him.

The bill in question calls on the US Treasury to print 400,000 silver dollar coins with Kirk's face on them.

In addition to Kirk's image, the coins would also include the six-word message, 'Well done, good and faithful servant' which is a quote from Matthew 25:23 in the Bible.

The full quote, from a common translation, the New International Version, reads: "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!'"

The bill, if passed, would see the coins minted with the year 2026 and his full name on them, according to Fox News Digital.

Pfluger, who is the chair of the Republican Study Committee, said that 'this commemorative coin will make Charlie the youngest American ever immortalized on legal U.S. currency, a fitting honor that cements his extraordinary legacy alongside presidents and founding fathers who shaped our republic'.

Meanwhile, Hamadeh added to Newsweek that Kirk's 'life must be commemorated, and this coin will allow us to pass a reminder of his remarkable life on to generations to come'.
