Barron Trump has just made an unexpected career move after launching a new range of energy drinks, but still appears to be following in his father's footsteps.

Barron, 20, who is the youngest of US President Donald Trump's five children, whom he shares with his third wife, Melania Trump, launched the drinks through his company, SOLLOS, last month.

The SOLLOS Pineapple + Coconut 12-pack currently retails for $39.00, which works out as $3.25 per can (around £2.40).

According to the official SOLLOS website, the beverages contain 'Organic Brazilian Yerba Mate' as well as five added grams of sugar, organic raw honey and antioxidants.

Each can has 120mg of 'natural caffeine' and is 50 calories a piece.

"Crafted with Brazilian yerba mate, providing 120mg of natural caffeine for smooth, plant-based energy. Complemented by organic pineapple and coconut flavours and sweetened with organic cane sugar, organic raw honey, and organic monk fruit extract," the official product description reads.

The website is also selling SOLLOS merch, including a $95 'French Terry Bajas' hoodie, an $80 insulated beach bag, 'French Terry' shorts and a $30 cap.

Barron, who studies at New York University’s Stern School of Business, is listed as one of the company's directors.

The SOLLOS website adds that the founders range in age from 19 to 23 and all grew up in South Florida.

Under its 'Our Story' section, the website reads: "It all started in a cabana, with a simple goal: create a beverage that actually complements life in the Sunshine State.

"Despite Florida’s outdoor, sun-driven lifestyle, there was no clean, functional, and great-tasting beverage that truly fit how people in Florida actually live. Existing options either lacked quality ingredients or failed to deliver a refreshing taste that matched the environment and lifestyle.

"Something refreshing after a surf session, energising enough to carry you through a tennis set, and crafted with organic ingredients.

"Most brands launch with four flavours hoping you'll like one of them; we have been obsessing over one flavour until it was flawless."

Barron seems to be following in the footsteps of his father, Trump, who has been associated with over 500 individual business entities, operating primarily under the umbrella of his privately held conglomerate, The Trump Organization, per TIME.

Some of his most notable business ventures include Truth Social, Trump International Hotels and the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Barron is reportedly worth $150 million, Forbes reports, while his father, Trump, is worth $6.5 billion, according to a Forbes tally from March.

Tyla has reached out to SOLLOS for comment.
