Woman who 'stole' ball from boy caught making rude gesture to fans after heated incident

The grown female Phillies fan also became embroiled in a second spat with fellow spectators

This week's Phillies game 'ball-stealing scandal' is seemingly far from over, after the disgruntled woman involved was caught embroiled in yet another spat with attendees.

For those out of the loop with the sporting scandal, tensions became heated on Friday (5 September) whilst the Philadelphia Phillies were taking on the Miami Marlins 9-3, after centre-fielder Harrison Bader scored a jaw-dropping home run.

After soaring through the air, the ball began heading towards a largely empty area of the bleachers, spurring one doting dad - later identified as Drew Feltwell - to run into the area in a bid to intercept it.

Having gotten his hands on the ball, Feltwell rushed back to his family before proudly placing it into the glove of his young son, Lincoln, whose birthday it was.

Seconds later, however, whilst mid-embrace, footage on the big screen showed the father-son duo being interrupted by a furious female Phillies fan, who claimed the ball rightfully belonged to her.

"No, you took it from me!" she could be heard screaming in further fan footage. "You took it from me!

"That was in my hands. That was in my hands."

Horrified by the woman's outburst, Feltwell eventually handed the ball back to the woman, who was later booed back to her seat in footage that has since gone viral online.

Though young Lincoln was later gifted a prize pack from the Phillies and the Marlins - both of whom voiced their support of the boy and his father - which contained a variety of gifts, the scandal is apparently far from over.

In fact, the furious female fan has since come under further fire, after yet another clip of her attending the baseball game was released online, showing her berate another group of fans in a separate incident.

In the latest video filmed after she walked away with the home run ball, the woman can be seen marching across the bleachers to a separate group of fans.

According to the Daily Mail, the seated group had presumably been heckling the lady over the previous incident, after which she began shouting in one man's face.

After making her way back to her seat, the woman then looks up to another group of baseball fans sitting in an upper tier, who likely also disagreed that she should have bagged the prize ball.

She furiously yells at the group before holding the home run ball high above her head and whacking up her own middle finger, flipping off everyone in the surrounding earlier.

Having their say on the second incident, one onlooker wrote online: "I wish someone took that ball from her and threw it back onto the field LOL."

Another added: "The fact that she confronted others afterwards just confirms she's not a pleasant person."

"She should be banned from all sporting events. Not only did she take the ball from the kid she then went after other people," a third continued.
