A mum was left disgusted after finding a nasty sticker on her car window while out with her kids, saying she felt ‘targeted and watched’.

The 24-year-old had visited a B&M store at Tebay Retail Park in Bromborough, Wirral, Merseyside, with her children on Monday 13 November when she discovered the upsetting sticker.

She had been into the shop to buy a toy and bottle of water for her eldest child, but returned to find something had been stuck onto the driver’s side window.

The unnamed mum, whose children are aged two and 14 weeks, had parked in a parent and child space.

However, when she got back to her vehicle, she found a sticker that said: "Not disabled, just a c***."

The mum had been shopping with her two kids.

Despite being parked in her designated parent and child bay, and not in a disabled area, she said she felt ‘targeted’ by the incident.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo on behalf of the woman, a family member said: "If this person feels it is appropriate to watch someone get out of their car and apply a sticker with such vulgar language on a child's car then they need to have their head examined.

"Disabilities aren't always visible, but even so, she was in a parent and child space. People around her think it's disgusting.

"The manager at B&M confirmed she was in a parent and child bay and told her 'don't let it ruin your day'. No one has the right to call out any disability or call anyone such disgusting language."

She said she felt 'targeted'.

They 'couldn’t remove’ the sticker in the car park so ended up having to drive home with the sticker stuck to her window, with her ‘child looking at it’.

When she finally managed to get it off, the adhesive also left a ’horrible sticky residue’ on the car’s window.

The mum, who has parked in the same space before without experiencing a problem, said the sticker was ‘pathetic’. She added that the whole ordeal left her feeling extremely upset after feeling ‘targeted and watched’.

Her family are now hoping to raise awareness of what happened to ensure whoever left the sticker doesn’t get away with it, or target others in the future.

The woman’s relative added: "It has put her off shopping there now and I'm sure it has put others off too."
