The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a brand new family photo with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

This year's Christmas card from Kate and Wills was taken earlier this year in Norfolk by photographer Matt Porteous.

In the sweet photo of the family-of-five, beaming parents William and Kate can be seen holding hands with their three children; George, Charlotte and Louis. The three young Royals look particularly grown-up with Prince George and Charlotte beaming next to their father, the future King.

The official Twitter account for the family released the snap, writing: "Sharing a new picture of the family for this year's Christmas card!"

Prince William is seen wearing a casual blue shirt and jeans, while George is in a polo t-shirt and shorts.

Charlotte and Louis matched their older brother, also wearing a pair of shorts. Mum Kate dressed down for the occasion, wearing blue jeans, trainers and a white blouse.

Fans of the Royal Family have been quick to share their kind thoughts and delight at how much the three children have grown.

One fan of the couple wrote: "This picture is just so beautiful and I'm so impressed by the family's perfect synchronisation with each other. Thank you so much for sharing this new picture with us and Merry Christmas."

Another said: "Of course it's Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis not actually holding hands."

A third fan commented: "George and Louis have a look so much like Mr Middleton and Charlotte is definitely a look of William! Wow, lovely picture. Thank you for sharing."

A fourth wrote commented under the photo: "It's Will and Kate being in-step-sync with each other and the kids being so with each other. Also, my god those kids just grow every time!"

Earlier this week, Charles and Camilla shared their first ever Christmas card as King and Queen Consort.

The lovely snap was taken just days before Queen Elizabeth II passed away in earlier this year in September.

Charles and Camilla’s festive photo was captured at the Braemar Royal Highland Gathering on 3 September when the former was still the Prince of Wales.

The happily-married couple beamed at the annual event and the image was taken by photographer Sam Hussein. The Royals were joined by crowds from around the world to watch competitors take part in the caber toss, hammer throw and tug of war.
