Hilaria Baldwin has shared a candid post about feeling ‘mum guilt’ following the arrival of her seventh child.

The doting mum announced the arrival of little Ilaria - who she shares with husband Alec Baldwin - on social media on Sunday (25 September).

Taking to Instagram last night (26 September), Hilaria confessed her emotions were ‘all over the place’ and she was experiencing ‘mum guilt’.

She wrote: “Making sure my other babies feel they have mama time too.

“Bringing baby home is magical and it’s always a transition that we all feel. I am trying to balance being a new mom again with breastfeeding, healing, and hustling to make sure all my children feel that I am there to be the best Mama I can be.”

Hilaria added: “Am I getting it right? Def not all the time… mama guilt? Obviously. Emotions. All over the place, 7th time around. I know this is a process.”

Two days earlier, Hilaria shared a sweet video of her newborn resting on her chest and wrote: “She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true.

“Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home. Much love to you all. We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you.”

Hilaria and Alec confirmed to People in March that they had another little one on the way.

They shared: "One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.

"Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can't wait to embrace our new little one this fall!"

However, Hilaria has been met with backlash over little Hilaria’s name in recent days, with some people wondering why she’d given the baby a 'Spanish' name considering recent backlash over her heritage.

Hilaria has previously been accused of ‘faking’ her Spanish heritage and it was even revealed that she used to go by the name ‘Hilary’ and was born in Boston.

Taking to Twitter after her baby’s name was announced, one person wrote: “Fake Spanish name from Boston-born mom,” while a second echoed: “Hilaria & Alec Baldwin had their 7th child. Not one American name, not even a middle name.”

Another wrote: “Her blatant trying to be Spanish is really quite irritating, why is it okay? Why does she keep trying? Have they really let it go to their heads that much?”

Tyla has approached Hilaria’s spokesperson for comment.
