Alec and Hilaria Baldwin announce they've welcomed their seventh child with sweet post

Alex and Hilaria Baldwin have welcomed their seventh child and shared the news in an adorable social media post.

Hilaria, 38, shared an Instagram post on Saturday (24 September) announcing the birth of the couple’s newborn daughter, Ilaria Catalina Irena.

The bundle of joy weighed six pounds and 13 ounces.

“She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true,” Hilaria wrote. “Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home. Much love to you all. We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you.”

She shared a video and photo montage showing Ilaria’s siblings holding her as well as Alec, 64, with the newborn’s footprint stamped on his arm.

The couple confirmed they had a new baby on the way in March 2022 in a statement released to People.

They told the publication: "One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.

"Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can't wait to embrace our new little one this fall!"

Hilaria also released a sweet Instagram post to announce the news, writing: "After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.

"We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we're beyond happy with this surprise. I'm sharing with you the moment we told the kids — as you can see, they are super excited!"

"Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times," the entrepreneur continued. "I've missed you during my break from social media…I'm back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call 'life.' Our love to you and your loved ones."

The couple’s pregnancy news came after Hilaria had a miscarriage and a pregnancy loss within seven months.

In April 2019, Hilaria suffered a miscarriage before conceiving again the same year, but sadly lost the baby in November 2019.

Hilaria and Alec got married in June 2012 and they share seven children together; Carmen Gabriela, eight; Rafael Thomas, seven; Leonardo Angel Charles, five; Romeo Alejandro David, four; Eduardo Pao Lucas, 23 months, and Maria Lucia Victoria, 18 months.

Alec is also father to 26-year-old actress and fashion model Ireland Baldwin, who she shares with his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger.
