An official police investigation has been launched following the tragic death of Arizona toddler Trigg Chapman Kiser, the three-year-old son of TikTok sensation Emilie Kiser.

The Chapman-based toddler died on Sunday (18 May) as a result of the numerous injuries he sustained six days earlier after falling into his family property's swimming pool.

Local police responded to the initial incident on Monday 12 May, after receiving reports of a possible drowning around 25 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona.

Arriving onto the scene, responding officers discovered that the youngster - whom 26-year-old Kiser shares with husband Brady Chapman - had been pulled from the water after falling in, having been severely injured.

After both police and paramedics attempted CPR on Trigg to no avail, the boy was rushed to the nearby Chandler Regional Hospital.

But staff at the facility ruled that they were unable to give the level of critical care he needed, after which he was flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in the state's capital.

Six days after the initial incident, on the afternoon of Sunday 18 May, Trigg died of his injuries.

Following the boy's heartbreaking passing - which was subsequently recorded by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office - Chandler Police issued a statement.

Speaking to press on 19 May, officer Sonu Wasu said: "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child's family and loved ones during this unimaginable time."

Wasu went on to reveal that an official investigation in the circumstances that led to Trigg's death has been launched, and that the incident remains ongoing.

"This is still an open investigation," he explained. "Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed."

Kiser is yet to release an official statement following her family's loss.

The 26-year-old social media sensation also shares an infant son, Teddy (Theodore), with her husband, whom she wed in 2020.

Both of Kiser's sons featured frequently in her online content, the majority of which was centred on parenting and lifestyle.

Following Teddy's birth, the star discussed her excitement to start life as a foursome.

"There’s no word to describe finally meeting Teddy and finally getting to analyze every part of him and how perfect he is," she told fans in a TikTok. "I’d do it all over again solely for the moment of Brady holding up our baby and announcing him to me.

"More to come. We have been soaking up every second as a family of FOUR."
