Social media influencer Emilie Kiser has returned to TikTok with her first video following her three-year-old son's tragic death.

The 26-year-old has been absent from the online world since her little boy, Trigg, whom she shares with her husband, Brady Kiser, drowned in their family pool in May.

At the time, Chandler Police were called to the Arizona-based family property following reports of a possible drowning, and shortly after arriving, which is around 25 miles outside of Phoenix, they found that the three-year-old had fallen into the pool.

He sustained several injuries before being pulled from the water, and CPR was immediately performed on the toddler by responding officers and paramedics.

First responders ruled that Trigg was in critical condition when he was transferred in an ambulance to Chandler Regional Hospital.

The toddler was later flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he tragically died of his injuries just six days later, on 18 May.

Now, four months after the tragedy occurred, Emilie, who is also mum to six-month-old Theodore, has returned with a post to her 4.5 million TikTok followers.

Speaking to the camera on Saturday (20 September), she said: "Hi, you guys, don’t even know what to say. It’s been a minute since I’ve obviously come on here.

"Not gonna lie, I’m really nervous right now. I don’t really know if there’s any right way to start this video, but I’m going to do my best.”

Emilie continued: "I have missed getting to chat with you guys everyday. I really do love this community we have here, and I hope that in coming back and sharing what I choose to, I can reconnect with you guys and, hopefully, help anyone going through a similar situation.”

She added: “I have been offline for the last little bit. I’m just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out. I’m just taking it day by day. I’m going to do the same with my content.

“I’m not going to act like things are fine and dandy, and I don’t want it to come off that way with me coming back and making content again. This is really therapeutic for me."

Emilie continued: "I miss talking to you guys, but I don’t know what that’s going to fully look like. I don’t know how much I’m willing to share, especially about my grief journey.”

The mother said she's still 'trying to process everything as best as she can, day by day' and 'doesn't know when' she will be ready.

"I don’t know when I’ll be ready. If you are going through anything similar, I just want to say that I love you, I’m here for you and I understand how hard it is," she said.

The influencer went on to film herself cleaning her home to finish off the emotional video, while fans spotted that she was also heartbreakingly wearing a necklace with her son's name.
