Further details have emerged of the murder of influencer Gabby Petito, who was murdered by her fiancé in 2021.

Gabby, 22, was killed by her fiancé Brian Laundrie while embarking on a cross-country holiday together in their van.

Gabby was killed by Laundrie in the summer of 2021, with her body being found near a Wyoming campsite weeks later.

The cause of death was ruled as homicide by strangulation, with Laundrie going missing after her death. His body was later found in a Florida park alongside a suicide note confessing he had killed her.

Now, the FBI have released 350 new documents from the murder case in 2021 including a letter between Gabby and Laundrie.

In the handwritten letter, which has been shared by E! Online, Gabby writes to Laundrie as she pleads with him for getting 'upset over a dumb piece of paper'.

She wrote: "Just please stop crying and stop calling me names because we're a team and I'm here with you.

"Yes, I can be a child sometimes I know, but it's ‘cause you give me this energy and I just love you too much. Like so much it hurts."

She continued: "So you in pain is killing me. I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm frustrated there's not more I can do."

More new evidence from the FBI has been shared including photos of Gabby and Laundrie's possessions amongst other documents relating to the case.

Gabby's case caught the attention of the media after Laundrie returned from their joint cross-country road trip without her in September 2021, and her parents launched a missing person's appeal.

Last month, Gabby's mother Nichole Schmidt opened up at CrimeCon 2024 as she said: "I speak for myself here when I say Brian, I forgive you.

"I needed to release myself from the chains of anger and bitterness, and I refuse to let your despicable act define the rest of my life."

In the aftermath of her death, Gabby’s stepmother Tara Petito, her father Joe Petito, mother Nichole Schmidt and her husband Jim, created the Gabby Petito Foundation.

The foundation, according to its website, aims to "to address the needs of organizations that support locating missing persons and to provide aid to organizations that assist survivors of domestic violence through education, awareness, and prevention strategies."
