Two women have come forward to allege they were sexually assaulted by Sex and the City actor Chris Noth.
Both women approached The Hollywood Reporter about their alleged ordeals ahead of the release of SATC sequel And Just like That this month, for which Noth, 67, resumed the role of John 'Mr. Big' Preston.

The women, who have used the pseudonyms Zoe and Lily, say the assaults happened in Los Angeles in 2004 and New York in 2015 respectively.
Lily, who is now aged 31, worked as a server in a VIP section of a club in New York when she met the actor in 2015 when she was 25 and he was 60.
She returned to Noth’s apartment after they had dinner at a restaurant. She told the publication of the incident: “He was having sex with me from the back in a chair. We were in front of a mirror. I was kind of crying as it happened.
“I went to the bathroom and put on my skirt. I was feeling awful. Totally violated. All of my dreams with this star I loved for years were gone.”

Zoe, who is now aged 40, said she met Noth in 2004 when she was 22 at the firm where she worked. Noth and other celebrities often had business at the unnamed firm.
She said she had to seek treatment at Cedars-Sinai hospital after Noth allegedly kissed her after she returned he left with her and then raped her.
Noth responded to the allegations in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter in which he called them “categorically false” and said the encounters were “consensual”.

He said: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross.
"The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”
And Just Like That debuted last week and the first episode featured the shocking death of Noth's character, who he played in the original series between 1998 and 2004 and both film adaptations.
