A school resource officer in New York has been removed from her post after she allegedly shared 'inappropriate' social media posts about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The 31-year-old right-wing influencer and ally of Donald Trump was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at a university event in Utah on Wednesday (10 September).
Following an FBI press conference on Friday (12 September), it has since become public knowledge that the suspect has been named as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
Robinson has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice.

While the suspect's motive is still unclear, the assassination has sparked a political debate up and down America and the rest of the world.
And dozens of social media posts and messages about the shooting have been posted in recent days, some of which are allegedly 'celebrating' Kirk's murder.

One person who's come under fire for her posts about the Turning Point USA co-founder and CEO is Tanisha Blanche - a school resource officer in a suburban New York school district.

Local law enforcement reportedly confirmed to Fox News Digital on Sunday (14 September) that Blanche has been pulled from her post following 'unacceptable' posts regarding the assassination.
According to the publication, Blanche is employed by the Westchester County Police Department and was assigned to Somers Intermediate School in Westchester County.
Several of the officer's social media posts began circulating online earlier this week, which reportedly appear to mock Kirk following his death.
One allegedly read: "Well that white sniper was over qualified when he put that hole in your neck hunni bunni."

Meanwhile, a second post reportedly said: "This is who y'all crying about on my feed? Get a life."

School officials have reportedly told the outlet that Blanche was removed from her post and that police were contacted after authorities were alerted to the posts.
Somers Superintendent of Schools Adam Bronstein also reportedly issued a letter notifying parents of Blanche’s removal.

According to the New York Post, it read: "The nature of the posts glorifies violence, which is completely unacceptable for someone entrusted with the safety of students and staff members."
"The Westchester County Police Department has affirmed that another SRO will be assigned to our schools on Monday. I am in touch directly with the police to ensure the safety and continuity of our SRO program going forward," it continued.
For now, Blanche will reportedly be handling administrative duties within the police department, pending an investigation.
Tyla has contacted the Westchester County Police Department, the Somers Central School District and Adam Bronstein for comment.
