Fans couldn't believe their eyes this morning, as Holly Willoughby shared a throwback photo to mark her 40th birthday.
Posting on Instagram, the This Morning presenter shared a throwback image of her mum, Linda, on her 40th birthday, wearing a knee-length floral peplum dress.

Explaining her mum had kept the dress all these years, Holly decided to pay tribute by wearing the very same garment, explaining it made her feel closer to her parents on her special day.
"This photo of my Mum was taken on her 40th birthday at the party she had in the garden. I remember this day so clearly," Holly wrote.
"It's a strange thing to reach the age you remember your Mum being! ...I asked her if she'd kept the dress and of course she had... Strange moment zipping it up this morning, wondering how she felt on her big day.
"I can't be with my Mum or Dad today but wearing this in her honour makes me feel closer to them... love you Mumma! #sothisis40."
And fans couldn't believe Holly is 40, with one commenting: "As if HW is 40. Absolute idol!"

While another added on Twitter: "No i simply refuse to believe that holly willoughby is 40."
And one wrote: "Wow! @hollywills is 40 and looks SENSATIONAL."

Others meanwhile, admitted they were in tears over the emotional tribute, with one tagging a friend and asking: "Are you crying?"
