Alesha Dixon has finally announced the arrival of her second child with a picture on Instagram, after managing to keep the birth under wraps for seven weeks.

The star took to the social media site to introduce Anaya Safiya on Monday, after showing off her post-baby figure in a crop top last week as she arrived at America's Got Talent auditions in LA.

This morning's post revealed that the little girl was actually born back in August.

The cute snap showed off her tiny girl cuddled up in a blanket and read: "Anaya Safiya born 20.08.19 7 weeks ago this little angel came into our lives! As I celebrate my birthday today I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet," surrounded by purple love heart emojis.

This is Alesha's second child with backing dancer Azuka Ononye, having given birth to her first, Azura Sienna, now five, back in 2013.

Psst...We have exciting news to share about the future of Pretty 52.

The TV judge is used to keeping babies a secret, as she didn't even announce she was pregnant with her first child, instead only revealing she'd been expecting after she'd given birth - this is one stealthy celebrity!

After the Instagram post, other celebrities were quick to offer their congratulations.

Co-host from Britain's Got Talent Amanda Holden said: "So glad it's finally out there!! The best news ever. I was bursting. Happy birthday Wifey."

Pixie Lott said: "Soo beautiful! Congratulations!!"

Kate Thornton commented: "A thousand congratulations, she is delicious x."

Jordan Banjo added "Beautiful! Congratulations," whilst Myleene Klass simply said "Gorgeous."

This time around, everyone knew she was expecting, after hosts Ant and Dec announced her pregnancy on Britain's Got Talent back in May.

She was asked about her news and she replied: "Over the moon, yes. Lovely place to celebrate it."

Naturally, co-host David Walliams had joked the baby was his.

He said at the time: "We're very happy. These things happen when you're on the tour".
