Many of us can't even bear the thought of a certain eight-legged creepy-crawly scuttling about in their home let alone having to physically confront it.

Well, unfortunately for one unlucky Aussie lass, this was exactly the case after she was tasked to capture a pretty hefty spider in a wardrobe - only to end up losing it amid the chaos of it all.

Chloe Baradinsky decided to post the ordeal to TikTok, to share with her 19k followers, and it has subsequently left the internet 'hysterically screaming, crying and hyperventilating'. Have a look:

The woman was hanging out with her pals when they spotted the critter living rent-free in a bedroom.

"Is there any other girl better than this?" Chloe asked to which one of her friends responded: "No, just you babe."

She went on: "Guys it's f***ing big. It's really big."

As she plucked up the courage to move closer, she said: "I don't think I'm going to die from it."

"F*** it, I know it knows what's happening," Chloe told her friends. "I can tell it can see the shadows."

Calling out for help, she asked: "Is anyone better at this? Are you good at spiders?"

"No I’m the worst," another friend off-camera replied, to which Chloe yelled out: "Why is this my job? I need a bigger bowl!"

Chloe desperately pleaded with her friends to help her out with the spider removal.

After losing sight of the spider, the entire group can be heard shrieking out in a chorus of terrified screams.

She captioned the clip: "I swear I'm usually good with spiders but this one just got to me, I knew he knew I was coming for him. "Ready to attack me."

Chloe also issued a follow-up comment on the matter, telling invested viewers: "Guys FYI we couldn’t find the spider after this so we just had to learn to coexist."

The video has since gone viral after clocking up more than 4.8 million views on the platform with thousands upon thousands of comments from people eager to weigh in on the ordeal.

Many rushed in to share exactly how they would react in the situation Chloe's found herself facing.

One TikTok user penned: "No but honestly how DO you get rid of a spider that massive?"

The internet was sent into a spiral by the viral TikTok.

"I’d genuinely call the police," revealed a second, while a third echoed: "I will be calling the police if i see that in my house."

A fourth chimed in: "ABSOLUTELY NOT! I would literally burn the house down that is hugeeeeee."

"If I saw a spider that large in my home I’d probably just have to move out LOL," confessed a fifth.

Another declared: "I would’ve just moved to another state."

It's clear the video triggered a very visceral reaction in other viewers who were quite literally left screaming.

"Not me screaming at my phone when it moved," penned one TikTok user.

A second wrote: "Not me screaming on top of my lungs after it escaped from the bowl."

"Very valid reaction," offered a third.

A final TikTok user praised: "I feel you so so much that was really brave."

How would you have reacted?
