An ice cream museum has opened its doors in New York, and honestly, it sounds like the dream.
Set in the city's Soho district, the museum isn't just a celebration of delicious dairy, it's also so much more.

Essentially one giant modern art exhibition, it's housed in a brand new 25,000 square-foot flagship location, and is baby pink dream, with a pool filled with sprinkles and a bouncy castle house.
The ice cream museum features 13 sensory installations over three floors, and is so big it even has a spiral slide for when you want to travel from floor-to-floor.
There's all sorts of quirky stuff to enjoy throughout the premises too, including a Milkshake Lounge where you can make your own creamy drinks and a Queen Bee Hive, which visitors will be led to by the sound of a buzz.

The fun doesn't stop there, either, as there's also an adults only sprinkle jacuzzi, a giant hall of scoops and a quirky, girly AF twist on a New York subway ride.
Just think of the Insta pics.
Visitors can also relax in a speakeasy style lounge where they can sit an enjoy a sundae, visit the banana room (a literal room filled with bananas) and stroll through a gallery of ice cream history, should they want to brush up on their knowledge of the chilly snack.

"We are not your ordinary museum!" reads its website. "Prepare for the extraordinary. Here, unicorns are real and every day starts with a swim in the sprinkle pool."
That sounds like a bit of us.
If you want to make a visit, tickets cost $39 (£29.75) and you can reserve them by booking yourself a time slot here.

This isn't the first time we have been treated to an interactive ice cream experience, as the museum has previously popped up in various cities across the US.
It first made its debut in 2016 with a Manhattan pop-up, before later landing in Los Angeles and Miami for limited stints.
There is also a permanent site in San Francisco, although the New York branch will be its biggest, flagship branch.

If you need us, we'll be there, basking in a pool of sprinkles.
