All UK Spotify Premium Users Can Get A Free Google Speaker This Month

Heads up, Spotify Premium subscribers: you can now get a free Google Nest Mini speaker.

The streaming giants have buddied up with Google to offer all premium subscribers a free Google Nest smart speaker.

2020 just perked up, right?

New Spotify Premium subscribers are eligible for the offer too; you simply need to be a Premium account holder and live in the UK.

Don't sleep though, because the offer only stands until 30th September or while stocks last.

Subscribers will receive one code each (no trying to double up now!) and have until 31st October to redeem their speaker.

There are four cool colourways to choose from: chalk, charcoal, coral or sky.

To get yours, simply click through to Spotify website via this link, log in and sync your Google account with Spotify.

You'll then need to add your delivery address, and the usual price tag of £29 ($38.69) should reduce to zero once in your basket. Easy!

Spotify explain that: 'all eligible new and existing Spotify Premium individual, Family, Duo and Student master account holders in the UK' can claim their Google Mini.

We haven't been this excited since we discovered Spotify's pet playlist function.

Yep, the streaming service features a playlist generator for your furry companion.

Aptly named the 'Pet Playlist', the new generator lets users select what type of animal they have and then curates a whole array of songs for them based on their personality type.

Animals in the mix include bird, cat, iguana, dog, hamster and cat, and you can pick how energetic or relaxed, curious or apathetic and shy or friendly they are on a slide-able scale.

Then voila! Just like that, a magic playlist is created full of tailor picked tunes that fit both your animal's characteristics and your very own music taste.

Check it out and have Spotify curate some banging tunes for your animal pal here.
