A private investigator has revealed the 'number one' cheating sign that people always miss when suspecting their partners.

Over on TikTok, Cassie Crofts - who goes by @venusinvestigations - explained there's one huge clue that your partner could be being unfaithful, but loads of people always overlook it.

Cassie explained that if you want to find out more about what your partner is up to, it's worth looking at their spending.

She said: "We're basically a cashless society these days, so if your partner has always been about the tap and go, using credit cards for reward points and suddenly they're doing ATM withdrawals?

"That's a breadcrumb worth following. Cash doesn't leave a trail. If they're going to restaurants and spending $200, you can be pretty sure they're not dining solo.

"But $200 cash withdrawal? You've got no idea what happened."

People took to the comments to weigh in with their thoughts, with one person writing: "He always withdraws cash, could never understand why, thanks for the heads up."

While another said: "My husband is spending a lot of money at gas station. I think gift cards for OnlyFans."

Others shared their own experiences, with one revealing her husband had asked his mistress to pay so he wouldn't be caught out.

"Made his mistress pay for their dates so I wouldn’t find out," she wrote.

And another added: "My ex is a CEO and had bundles of cash. We would go to Sydney and he would give me cash to go shopping and leave me for hours while he went 'to the gym'."

While a third shared: "100% my ex was taking out $300 a month."

Cassie shares loads of tips and pieces of advice on her account, explaining how she also helped one client catch a cheating husband with a loyalty card.

"They lived in Queensland and he was going on these trips to see his family in New South Wales pretty regularly which he never used to do," she explained.

She asked her client if the couple had any rewards cards - which they did - and before long they found heaps of transactions at a store conveniently located near his ex-girlfriend's house - in Queensland, not New South Wales.

"Bro gave it up for a few extra reward points," she said, adding: “$10 off your shop but a very expensive divorce.”

People were quick to comment, with many admitting they'd found their partners cheating the same way.

"Nailed it! Caught mine the same way," said one person.

And a second added: "I’m not a PI but my first point of checking was the bank and where he was buying food and petrol and bingo! Ex gf who then turned into his gf."
