Women grossed out after realising some men have 'f**king' disgusting toilet habit

The TikTok debate about this peculiar habit has divided viewers

One woman has been blindsided this week by the revelation that one of her ex's bathroom habits is far from the norm.

In fact, other social media users have slammed his controversial personal hygiene as 'f**king disgusting', leaving the poor woman in question doubting everything she thought she knew about the opposite sex.

Bathroom habits can greatly divide groups of even the closest friends, with people often growing defensive over their personal hygiene preferences, whether that be how often you're supposed to replace your shower loofah, or whether you really need to wash your legs in the shower.

This week, however, another debate has entered the mix.

The internet was set ablaze earlier this week when 25-year-old TikTok user Hannah Thear asked whether anyone else's partners avoids having to climb out of bed to use the bathroom each night.

Instead, she revealed that her ex-partner had a bundle of water bottles under the bed, which he'd use to urinate inside when he's feeling uber-lazy.

In a video which has since been deleted, she admitted to her followers: "I thought it was acceptable for him to piss in bottles ’cause he didn’t wanna get out of bed, and they used to sit there for days unless I emptied them."

And surprisingly, a stream of male users plucked up the courage to admit in the video's comments that peeing in bottle also forms part of their night-time routine.

"A p**s bottle? I thought everyone did this. I’ve been doing it for 10+ years," one confessed, while another joked: "I feel sorry for women they can’t do what we can."

A third also revealed he'd recently found his grandfather's stash of pee-filled bottles.

"[These are] his bottles here that he pees in [when] he’s too lazy to get up and go to the bathroom, so he just fills up Gatorade bottles," the user explained.

When it comes to the verdicts of the video's female viewers, however, the news has left them greatly divided.

A strong - frankly, concerning - amount began by revealing some of their former partners were guilty of the exact same practice, but that it had left them traumatised.

"Why did I get a flashback to my ex then," one asked, while another went on: "There’s more men out there that do this?? My ex-partner did this."

"My ex did this too but also next to his recliner where he played Call of Duty all night," a third explained. "It’s disgusting, and I will never deal with pee bottles again."

Another woman on Reddit was also horrified by the prospect, adding that she was grossed out to discover her boyfriend doing so recently in the middle of the night.

"He has admitted he has been doing it for years because he can’t get himself out of bed when he is trying to sleep," she explained.

"This was super gross, and I couldn’t believe he thought it was acceptable."

In response, one person jibed: "If he can’t get up and go to the bathroom without going into existential crisis paralysis, he needs to see a doctor."

"Healthy people don’t p**s in bottles at home. Period. He has some issues, and you are not the one to ‘fix him," a second replied.

However, she added that he had insomnia, leading others to have some sympathy - however, they added that it didn't excuse the behaviour.

Someone wrote: "Perhaps he should...get the insomnia treated? Pee bottles ain't it."

Another said: "I've had horrible insomnia, so I get it to some degree. But this sounds a bit more complex than just insomnia.

Whatever is going on, he needs to see a doctor."
