Relationships can be tricky business and even when you find 'the one', they'd have to be pretty clever to know everything you like.
Fair enough, you can expect them to know your favourite takeaway order, your go-to Netflix series and even the type of music you like... but is it really reasonable to expect your fella to know what kind of engagement ring you want?
Well, according to one woman, that's exactly right - and she has no qualms about asking him to go back and change it when it doesn't meet her tastes.
The anonymous woman made the ultimate confession when she discovered a diamond ring in her boyfriend's bedside draw, and it wasn't long before she took to social media to slam his ring choices.

Taking to a ring-shaming Facebook page, she wrote: "Ewwww. Self shame Friday here I come. Found this on the BF's nightstand. Not a fan.
"Please roast and then tell me how to tactfully say no you need to get something different."
At least she wants to be tactful about it.

After posting her woes on Facebook, the post was quickly screenshot and shared on Reddit, where other users were less than sympathetic about her complaints.
"This is the saddest thing I've seen on this sub," one user wrote. "It's one thing when it's a total stranger, but when someone that's supposed to love you unconditionally acts like a grifter it's just plain sad."
Another suggested: "If the ring is the problem, the ring isn't the problem. If she really loves him, she'll be over the moon with a ring made of tin foil. The fact that she's upset about the ring and not excited that her partner is about to propose is a massive red flag."
However, it's worth pointing out that this woman could've been waiting for the moment her significant other proposes for a long, long time. Is it really so awful that she wants it to be perfect?
