After one woman dropped her wedding ring, she enlisted a team of expert Redditors to help her find it.

There’s a popular thread on Reddit called FindTheSniper, where users routinely challenge themselves to find hidden objects in bustling images.

Earlier this year, an anonymous lady posted an image to the subreddit which seriously put social media users.

She tasked the hoard to find the ring she claimed to have dropped on a bed of stones.

Taking to Reddit, the user @raedcabello simply wrote above the puzzling photograph: “Find my wedding ring. Luckily I found it.”

While the woman didn’t explain where the picture had been taken, it looked as if it was snapped in her garden due to small leaves littering the scene.

At first glance, it’s honestly pretty difficult to see where the ring had fallen.

Lots of other people were stumped too, with one viewer writing: “No ring but I do see a snake, a toy army man, a socket and a baby moose.”

A second said: “I saw 3 things that looked like rings, came here to guess, then saw the hint and realised I was wrong with the first three things. I’m so bad at this game!”

“You know what? …No… Find your own wedding ring! There I said it,” joked someone else.

However, some perceptive users were quick to discover the ring’s location in the image and attempted to help others using the FindTheSniper subreddit.

One said: “Little piece of advice - always start with the middle in these pictures.”

“It’s so funny bc when I know the ‘zoom in on dead centre’ trick everything becomes so easy,” commented someone else. “But if I were in real life & lost my wedding ring in this ground pattern I’d probably lose my mind. Go you for spotting it!!!”

Another added: “Find the small horizontal stick in the centre.

“It's a little left and down from that.”

Turns out that no, this isn’t a trick - the ring does actually feature in the picture!

If you’ve tried to find it to no avail, we suggest zooming into the centre of the image and looking off to the left.

There, you will see a simple gold band lying on top of a leaf, just off from a large, cream-coloured rock.

If you still can’t see it then don’t worry, we’ve circled the ring for you to make the search process a little easier.

The post, which has accumulated over 15,000 likes and more than 1,600 comments is just one of the puzzling images available to pour over on the FindTheSniper subreddit.

If you enjoyed the engagement ring challenge, then you know where to head next because there are thousands of posts to crack.
