A woman was left standing outside for three hours after her pet pug accidentally locked her outside her car.
Monica Garcia from San Antonio, Texas, messaged her family group chat when she was unable to get into her car - and her son, Nick Garcia, shared the whole thing on Twitter for our amusement.

He posted a screenshot of the family exchange, along with a hilarious yet adorable picture of Pete the pug looking rather pleased with himself on the passenger seat.
"Pete locked me out of my car," Monica wrote in the family chat, "my phone is in the car with Pete."
Clearly in a state of panic, she continued: "Send AAA please to our house."

After Nick's brother, Tristan, asked Monica to send picture evidence, Nick uploaded the whole thing to Twitter, writing: "So my dog locked my mom out of her car."
"She texted from her iPad, it took 3 hours for AAA to come."
Despite a long three hour wait, the AAA eventually arrived to free Pete the pug, and allow Monica to get back into her car and retrieve her phone, bag and keys.

The tweet has since been liked a whopping 428,000 times, prompting Nick and his followers to start an incredible pug thread.
How could you possibly get mad at a face like that?
It just gets better and better...
The internet can be such a wonderful place.
