Hilarious Moment A Clever Doggo Rings Doorbell After Getting Locked Out Of His House

Dogs really are the smartest animals...

We know dogs are smart animals, but one pooch proved just how clever she was when he found herself locked out of her house recently.

In footage captured on a doorbell cam outside a family home in Georgia, America, this super smart doggo can be seen ringing the bell to alert his family he's trapped outside.

Filmed at 2am, the clip shows the Labrador-mix named Chika jump and use her snout to push the buzzer on the doorbell.

Just LOOK at her.

Chika is then seen scurrying back to the porch where she waits patiently to be let in by her family.

But when she doesn't get a reply, she's back to the bell again, this time hitting it with her paw until it sounds.

Unfortunately for Chika's owners Robert Fox, Angelica Fox and their son Gavin Cooper still managed to sleep through the bell,

But Robert eventually discovered her outside later in the evening as he went to lock up and brought her back into the warmth.

Speaking of clever dogs, did you hear about Winnie the American bulldog, who is learning how to walk again from scratch with the help of swimming lessons?

The 18-week-old American pup suffers from a disease affecting the carpus - that's the doggie equivalent of the wrist joint, between the paw and the leg.

Winnie was dropped off at the RSPCA branch in Essex aged just nine-weeks-old, after her owners struggled to cope with her condition.

After her diagnosis, Winnie was prescribed swimming lessons by the RSPCA.

The motion and gentle resistance of the water will help her tendons develop. Luckily, she'll be back on her paws in no time.

Kathy Butler, animal support worker from the RSPCA, said: "When Winnie arrived she had severe knuckling on her forelimbs, which left her legs collapsing under her weight. She thankfully wasn't in any pain but needed urgent help."

The RSPCA is a vital support system for animals like Winnie, who might otherwise struggle to find specialist care they need.

What special pups.
