A woman who hopes to have somewhere between eight and 10 children has said that her plan is to have a baby every year so she can avoid having her period.

Chantel Schnieder is already a mum of two with a third on the way while she and her partner are on TikTok as 'The Alexander Family'.

They recently posted a new video celebrating the upcoming addition to their family which carried the message 'when he gets you pregnant every year so you don't have to deal with a period'.

In the TikTok Chantel and her partner were dancing with their two children and eating sweets, appearing to be in a very celebratory mood.

The video has gone viral with millions of people watching and plenty of those wanting to know more about the Alexander family plans for the future.

The family have a third child on the way but are aiming for somewhere between eight and 10.

Chantel told people the family was looking at plenty more kids in their future as she wrote 'we want 10 or 8' more kids so with two already and a third on the way that's five more planned at the very least.

Some mums commented to say that they were doing similar things, with one saying she'd been 'pregnant since 2020' and another saying she'd had three kids in three years with a fourth on the way this year.

A third said it would be 'nice to have all kids be around the same level for toys' so the family wasn't spending a fortune on new things for their kids to play with years apart.

Others weren't quite so convinced it was the way they'd want to do things, with one saying she'd avoided periods by getting a hysterectomy while another said having a baby every year was 'my idea of hell' though they did tell the family they were 'happy for you'.

Their baby announcement had the message 'when he gets you pregnant every year so you don't have to deal with a period'.

One very unfortunate woman ended up having a period that lasted for 83 days and needed a blood transfusion to keep her alive.

It was only after she went in for a procedure to remove tissue from inside the uterus that the bleeding stopped.

During that time she had to demand an overnight stay in hospital after a doctor asked her whether she was 'sure you're bleeding as much as you say you are'.

Sticking to her guns turned out to be the right decision as she had to stay longer than one night and was scared that if she'd gone home as the doctor ordered she could 'possibly die'.

Another woman has claimed she's got a hack that cures period pains with the use of a pen or similar implement.
