From pesto pasta and beans on toast to fry-ups and roast dinners - we all have our own little tips and tricks when it comes to putting our own spin on culinary classics.

However, one mum has taken her experimentalism to a whole new level leaving the internet totally divided after making 'easy' spaghetti bolognese in the microwave.

The woman, who goes by the handle @itsmebadmom online, took to TikTok to share with her 268.3k followers the cooking video and let's just say, viewers have not held back with their reactions.

The mum began by telling her followers to pop their 'frozen mince' into a jug and then added some onions and mixed them into the mince before whacking it into the microwave for 10 minutes.

"I have mixed it halfway through," the TikToker explained before adding: "So it's looking good."

She then added chopped tomatoes, pepper, salt and garlic before popping the mix back into the microwave for another five minutes.

All that's left is to sort the pasta out and, according to this mum, Bob's your uncle.

One mum has shocked the internet after sharing her 'easy' spag bol recipe.

She captioned the clip: "Make spag bol quick and easy in a microwave. Tastes delicious."

Thousands and thousands have since rushed in to share their thoughts on the cooking tutorial, with one TikTok user writing: "Omg look at the microwave..."

A second said: "I'm all about a lazy tea but if you gonna make spag bol… just make spag bol..."

"Everybody so creative," slammed a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Is this legal?"

A fifth offered their suggestion for an alternative video title up: "How NOT to make spag bol!"

For some people, interestingly, the recipe seemed to go down a total treat.

"Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for people with no cooker, this could be a lifesaver seeing healthy meals available." one said.

A second praised: "This is a really good video for those who don’t have access to other facilities due to maybe just moving into a new home or not being able to afford."

"You go girl! It’s so funny how people will slate you if you didn’t feed your kids and then also slate you when you are feeding them," a third added.

While others reckoned the whole thing was just a bit of satire, with one TikTok user commenting: "I refuse REFUSE to believe this is a thing!"

"I can’t tell if this is a joke or real girl," admitted a second, while a third quipped: "It’s defo a joke guys."

A fourth penned: "Joke or no joke that microwave is never cleaned!"

"I refuse REFUSE to believe this is a thing," echoed a final TikTok user.

The TikToker has also included the tags 'funny' and 'humour' on the video, making it more likely to be a joke.

What do you make of it?
