In a recent podcast, Olivia Attwood made it clear she's not exactly the biggest fan of children being at weddings

Weddings can bring a lot of stress and hassle, and if you throw kids into the mix, it can be an absolute stress fest.

The divisive topic surrounding whether children should be allowed to attend weddings has brought about a lot of discussion online.

And it seems Love Island star Olivia Attwood is certainly in the camp of not allowing children to attend, even saying that if she did have kids, they would not be invited to her wedding. She didn't hold back:

Attwood shared her opinion on Jamie Laing's Private Parts podcast, and she's certainly divided opinion.

A short teaser clip for the podcast was released by Laing on his TikTok account prior to the full podcast being released. In the clip, Attwood said: "The kids at wedding thing, for me, is absolutely unacceptable.

"Even if I had my own children, I wouldn’t invite them."

The Love Island star did concede though that she obviously does not have any children of her own, so doesn't necessarily understand the 'love' you get from having a baby.

Olivia Attwood does not think children belong at weddings.

She added: "When I see, like, the bride with like, this little thing hanging off her dress, it’s little grubby hands, I’m like, what the f***?

"You’re in a Vera Wang silk dress, you put your little grubby chicken finger hands all over it? No way."

Attwood even compared children making noises during the all-important vows to sounds you would hear out of the Jurassic Park films.

"I’d be like, shut the f*** up," she joked. Fair enough.

The TikTok has been viewed close to two million times on the video platform, amassing 170,000 likes and over 1,000 comments.

Many have hit back at Attwood, saying that weddings are certainly okay for kids to attend.

One person said: "I'm the opposite, weddings. Kids sliding across the dance floor stuffing sausage rolls falling asleep on 2 chairs pushed together. I love kids."

A second added: "My son will be at mine and so will my nephew, they are apart of my life forever so why would I not include them in my special day."

However, there were some TikTok users who agreed with the Love Island star.

"I have three kids! I don’t want to bring them to a wedding!!" one person said.

Meanwhile, a second added: "I don’t want to take my kids to a wedding either… definitely not the place for kids."
