Mum left furious after nursery assistant writes on baby's body with marker

A mum was left furious after a nursery assistant ended up writing on her baby body's with a marker.

Of course, kids at nurseries are going to end up drawing over each other while they learn the ropes of becoming a child.

That's what nursery is all about, have some fun before the series stuff of school, right?

And while parents may expect a few scribbles and drawings on their kids' hands, they certainly don't expect a nursery assistant to be scribbling all over their child.

But that is exactly what happened to a mum-of-two as she was shocked to discover words scrawled in a big bold black marker across her son's belly.

The mum was left furious by the message.

In 2020, Heather Chisum went to change little Milo's nappy after a long day at work when she noticed the writing, leaving her blood boiling.

At the time, she took to Facebook to vent her anger at what she had discovered.

"So… I need opinions. Am I right to be furious about this? Or am I overreacting? I really need your opinions guys, because I’m about to barge in this daycare tomorrow morning and have some words," she wrote.

"Every day, when I pick Fin and Milo up from daycare they put a daily report paper in Milo’s lunch box. It says what mood he was in for the day, what times they changed his diapers, and if he needs diapers or wipes.

"I guess yesterday they wrote on his report that he needs diapers, and I failed to see that."

Heather then explained how she is a single mum-of-two with a full time job so 'SUE ME FOR NOT READING THE REPORT EVERY SINGLE DAY'.

Despite that, the message written on Milo's torso read: "Mom I’m out of diapers pls read my report."

The words were inked in marker pen.

"Now keep in mind, I see several teachers at drop-off and several at pick-up. If I failed to see that he needs diapers a simple, ‘Hey Heather, your son needs diapers maybe you missed the report’ would have done the trick from any of the many teachers there I see daily," Heather pointed out.

As we all know with a marker pen, they are pretty difficult to get out as Heather found out.

She explained: "I’ve scrubbed it with several baby wipes and it’s not coming off. I had plans to take them to the beach to play, and now I can’t because my son has writing all over him."

Shockingly, Heather claimed this wasn't the first time a nursery worker had scribbled something onto Milo's body.

"The best part???? THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME," she wrote.

"They’ve done this several months ago too."

In an update to the original post, Heather addressed the negative comments she had received, writing: "For all of these mothers coming after me and saying I’m negligent, I’m human and I missed a report. ONE.

"I missed the report and this woman’s next course of action was to write across my entire sons torso. Like I said, this was the next course of action OVER a phone call, verbal warning, text, or email. And the first time this happened, SAME STORY. I have extra packs of diapers in my closet for crying out loud."
