This is genius.

If you want your baby to have their own little space, but don’t fancy splashing out on a pricey playpen, then we have a super easy (and cheap alternative).

TikTok user @brosia_17 took to the video sharing platform to show how she sets up a play area for her little one – and all that is required is a bed sheet.

You can watch the video below.

It’s amazing how cosy and homely the DIY playpen looks!

@brosia_17’s savvy hack went down a treat on TikTok with the video racking up 352,000 likes and garnering nearly 5000 comments from parents eager to save a few pounds.

“Wow, three kids and kids grandkids, not once thought of that!?!? Awesome!” one viewer gushed.

“Omggg this is SO SMART!” agreed a second. “My cheap husband would love this!

“Omg this is amazing I'm going to try this with my son thank you so much,” said a third, while a fourth added: “This is very creative and awesome.”

Others said that this hack would also be perfect for the beach to stop sand getting all over your belongings.

“Something like this could work for the beach too!” suggested one thoughtful viewer. “Just the four bins on the corners holding your stuff, put a canopy over it.”

“I do this at the beach! So no sand,” said a second.

The mum's idea was widely praised (

One TikTok hack we love is this really simple way of getting wax out of a candle.

Candles can be the centrepiece of your home space – and we can’t help but cling onto pretty candle jars long after we’ve stopped lighting them.

Sometimes we’ve wished we could just keep hold of the jar and use them for something else, but the pesky leftover wax stops it from being usable.

Well, one savvy TikToker has shown us there’s a super-simple and mess-free way to remove wax from a candle – and it’s genius.
