There really is nothing worse then burning your hand off a scorching hot oven rack while taking your dinner out. Not the shock you want when you're hangry.

But never fear as that cooking conundrum stops here as Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, has come to the rescue with her latest bargain recommendation.

Psst...We have exciting news to share about the future of Pretty 52

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 29-year-old cleanfluncer admitted she swears by these silicone strips from eBay, which attach directly onto oven rack.

Sharing a link to the pocket-friendly hack on the photo-sharing platform, the social media star told her Hinchers: "I can't be the only one that struggles getting food from the oven without burning themselves!"

The silicone strips come in black, red and grey, so you can choose whatever colour suits you.

The bendy strips can be used on both oven racks and baking trays but that's not all as they can be put in the microwave or in your fridge to save your mitts from extreme temperatures.

eBay

Each of the silicone strips are little longer than a ruler (35.7cm) and cost a reasonable £2.39 each.

But if you're already sold by the strips then you're in luck as the eBay seller is offering a five per cent discount when you purchase three or more.

You can even stock up on 10 of the oven guards for only £12.50 to avoid burning yourself on the scolding hot oven ever again. That's a true bargain for the cost savvy among us.

Mrs Hinch, who has amassed over 2.8million followers on Instagram, is known for her handy hacks and pocket-friendly products to have your house gleaming in no time.

Other products she swears by include the Pink Stuff paste, which you can pick up for just a quid from your local bargain store, and her 'Minky' MCloth anti-bacterial cleaning pad.
